Voyager Doctor & staff fantastic!!

Dr. Haaden Ax was absoulutely fantastic! My husband was ill the second of the last day of the cruise. I finally convinced him to go to the Dr. on board.

They immediately did blood work and urine same an found a infection. They gave him IV antibiotics for a few hours. He felt so much better. The Dr Ax wanted us to stop by the next morning and check in with him, before we got off the ship (in miami). My husband looked much beter and the Dr agreed, but one of the problems he was having was speech. Dr Ax wanted us to go to the local hospital immediately after getting off the ship. My husband was quite weak and needed a wheelchair.

The Dr. escourted us off the ship carried our luggage and got us to the parking gargage!!

My husbands health diagnosis is not good, but the care we received on board made a horrible situation easier to hand, because the Voyager Dr. and his staff was so great. We sailed 1/29/05.
