I was rummaging around in a box of stored items in my garage. I found what I was looking for and something else...what it was wrapped in.

 

A piece of old (1984) newspaper, opened up to reveal a half page ad for a Carnival Cruise, 3 and 4 night cruise fo $290. I was really surprised to see that the price was so close to what it is today. The ad featured a picture of the new ship Carnivale, it had NO balconies and looks so small, that by today's standards it's almost a "day sailer'. :eek:

 

It was an interesting find!:)
