Magnifica Dining

First time with MSC. We have booked an outside Fantastica grade cabin on Magnifica. Our allotted dining is MAIN. Does anyone know what time this seating is and are we allocated a certain dining room.

This means you will have been allocated/ maybe able to choose either 1st or 2nd sitting in an MDR.

you will be allocated a main dining room and a set table within that MDR

You should be given priority of choice of dining sittings, over Bella guests who may only express a preference of sittings.

The two starting times of sittings are usually between 18.00 to 18.30 for 1st sitting and 20.30 to 21.00 2nd sittings

You will not be able to have the "My Time" dining which is for Aurea guests and for Fantastica guests on sailings on Lirica class ships (Opera. Lirica, Sinfonia, and Armonia)

Thanks Pete,

Can we choose a table for two or request a table for four if we want to sit with our two friends,or do we have to sit with set tablemates we don't know. This happened to us many years ago on another cruiseline and none of us had anything in common and was uncomfortable at times.

To try and get the table size you want and to be assigned the same table as your friends you will have to see the Maître D', this is usually done on the day of embarkation. Ask at guest services when and where you go to make your request.

You can put down your preference of table size on your profile on the manage your booking/ voyagers club area on the MSC web site. This give them prewarning of your preference but does not mean you will get what you prefer. In this instance I would phone MSC or get your travel agent to phone and request that you link your booking to your friends booking and request a table for four.

There is a catch to doing that in that if one of you wants an All Inclusive drinks package you will all have to have the same package. This is true for two people sharing a cabin or people who are linking their bookings and sitting at the same table.
