sneekpeek Posted April 5, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 5, 2004 1. Make your PC reservations the minute you get on the ship. 2. In the front pocket of your black Princess binder that you find in your cabin pull out the "Pocket Guide" to the ship as soon as you get to your cabin. You will need it the first day for sure. We saw everyone walking around with it but we didn't know where to get one. Finally we looked in the binder! 3. Remember deck 7 is the universal deck. If you can't get there from deck 7 (middle of the ship elevators) then you can't get there at all. Example: you go to deck 7 and walk back to the back elevators or stairs to get to deck 6 for the international dining room.
mii Posted April 5, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 5, 2004 Thanks sneek for the suggestions. I will be going on the Sapphire in October and as that ship is a sister to the Diamond I welcome any suggestions. Again thank you Marilyn

joyus Posted April 6, 2004 #6 Share Posted April 6, 2004 Thanks sneekpeek - you have been a wealth of information about the Diamond. We're sailing on 5/15/04 to Alaska. I wonder if this menu will change when the ship moves to Alaska? Is it common for a ship's menu to change based on the itinerary?
sneekpeek Posted April 6, 2004 Author #7 Share Posted April 6, 2004 Yes. I saw the menu somewhere for the Alaska cruise and I can't remember exactly but I do remember it was different. Lots of fish dishes.
