In St. Thomas- Magens Beach is awesome- food & beverages available there, as is Sea Trekkin at Coral World. In St. Marteen- The AMericas Cup sail race is a thrill- kind of pricey but how often do you get to sail a multimillion $ racing boat (even if you haven't sailed-everyone has a job. IMHO St Martin had better prices on jewelry-Dont be afraid to negotiate,They are more willing to come down in price if you are paying in cash.We cruised last month and I did take a 12pk of bottled water and a 12pk of bottled Diet Coke w/ me in a collapsible wheeled cooler. Lanyards were a must for your sign and sail cards. Carnival sells them but you can get at Walmart for .97. Have fun. wish we were going again
