I remember when I was younger and went on my first cruise on the Carnival Ecstasy in 1991 I remember seing the ship Norway. I remember it becuz at the time I i think it was the longest ship out and i remember the double smoke stacks. Anyway my question is what ever happend to this ship? Globaliser Posted October 8, 2006 #4 Share Posted October 8, 2006 Technically, she's awaiting a decision of the Indian Supreme Court as to whether she can lawfully be scrapped at Alang. The decision is due in early December, IIRC - although one has to remember that this is "Indian time" that we are talking about.
