Did you go to a lab in FLL? If so, what was the name if it? Thanks
No, it was on the west coast.

Centrylink Complex in Fort Myers is still open, very little waiting and it is free.
Thank you - The only reason we did not go there is they were not confirming they were open & no Appointments posted. We are set!

I really appreciate you sharing. We were lucky to have both tests work without a backup. Next time we decide to get some backups as a result of your posting.
Thanks so much an hope all works out for you.
Thanks much Jim! I’ve learned so much from you & other cruisers, that I felt this info had to be shared.
We are all set to sail tomorrow. Went to a lab this morning and got our Negative COVID tests with printed results! I also phoned Optum & requested a refund for our test kits. They did take the case number, lot numbers , etc., provided by e-med.

Gosh. First I’ve heard of that problem! Best wishes for your cruise!
That’s why I posted so others could prepare. It’s added quite a bit of stress! Can’t wait to board the ship!!!!
Thank you for your good wishes!

We also will be traveling from SW Florida to board a cruise in January. I'd be interested in hearing your experience.
We will be going to the Medical Lab in Bonita Springs - 239 201 5257. Called them yesterday to confirm they will be open & doing the Rapid Antigen. Hope this will work for you. Century Link Sports Complex also does them , but the Holiday created this issue.

Happy Thanksgiving to all ! We sail on Saturday & just tried to do the test. We got to the part of closing the card with the swab in it & it didn’t adhere. The proctor told us we could not hold it closed & that our test is invalid!!! She referred us to customer service who took our information & will have someone contact us about a refund.
Tomorrow we will have to scramble a bit to get tested as there are very few options in our area - SW FLORIDA. Hopefully the place we have contacted will work out.
Just wanted to make our fellow cruisers aware— can’t rely on these tests!!

Can anyone comment on whether or not they are open? In the past they were. We sail on the 27th & are eager to book a Med B2B for 2023 in the same cabin. At this point I hate to forfeit the OBC by booking now.
Many thanks!

Has the storm started up there. Being Sunday the news has been limited.
Unless we book something earlier our next cruise is a B2B2B starting with the Silhouette TA in April.
I doubt very much you will last till April without a cruise!! 😎

Hello everybody, I read through all 40 pages and nobody asked the same stupid question I have. We haven't been on a cruise since Christmas 2019, just before all hell broke loose. We are now booked on Summit over Thanksgiving (driving distance) B2B. The ports are boring, but we just want to cruise. When checking in, it says take a picture and then you have to allow for biometrics only or biometrics and photography. Does photography mean they won't take another picture when we board? Or what does it mean? I called Celebrity yesterday, held 1 hr 57 minutes and the agent couldn't tell me what it means. Don't know if I should check both. We downloaded the app and it seems pretty straight forward. If I finish the check in and then want to add the picture later (after I put on make up and comb my hair) will it allow me to do that? Also, I tried to request luggage tags and the last entry is a drop down for country. It doesn't work. Is that because we haven't completed check in? Thanks for your help.
We sailed the Summit end of Sept, our 1st since Nov 2019. Great crew & the ship was beautifully redone! Yes, the photo you take is the one they will use. I just checked in for our Nov 27 th Reflection & didn’t like the photo. Just take one & then go back to travel info( arrow in) & it will ask you if you want to edit the photo & there you go. I hated my 1st photo & did the edit! As to luggage tags, keep checking. They may not be available yet. Have a great cruise!

So happy to hear that the Ocean Bar has entertainment. The lack of it has been a huge disappointment for us.
AGREED!! We missed it to! It's great to have music before dinner! So happy it's back!

Thanks for posting sansterre! We sail the Rotterdam the end of March & appreciate your live reporting.
Happy to hear they brought back music to the Ocean Bar. Look forward to hearing about the bands, BB KING & all dance music.
when you have a moment , please 2 questions…
Is Clois du Bois Chardonnay included in the Signature Beverage Package?
what is the cost for the Greenhouse Thermal Suites?
many thanks & have a fabulous cruise! -

Not even a bubble for me. It was bone dry.
Backstory FWIW: When I ordered the 3-pack, they only sent 2. I had to call customer service to have them send a third. It was that third test (from a different lot) that had the empty bottle. The telemed professional took note of the lot #. I'll call customer service later to see if they can refund me.
thanks RichYak for posting the issues with the Binax test. Never would have thought! We sail 2 days after Thanksgiving & will do all I can to get an appointment on Friday, the day before, for a rapid Antigen. Getting harder & harder to secure those. This way the test kit can become my backup. I would purchase another set but given the expiration is Dec 21, it’s a waste.
Thanks again for making us aware! -

We had a sunset cabin on our Med cruise and loved the wake view. I can’t recall the cabin number but we were in the centre two decks down from the Oceanview bar area. I would opt for a lower deck with an overhang next time for protection from the weather. The balcony lacked privacy ( if that’s an issue for you) as it was fully visible from the bar above.
Very valuable information- thank you!

Oops, yes, that one is a Concierge cabin. We paid a very small amount above a 1A, a real bargain.
Sunset balconies in my experience are similar in size to the regular balconies on the sides, so not really a factor for us.
If you want a side balcony that is a bit larger, take a look at 8345. We've sailed in this cabin on the Eclipse and enjoyed it. Again, very little foot traffic due to its location. We obviously don't mind cabins at the stern of the ship as we enjoy the walk to the elevators and have never experienced any motion sickness there.
Many thanks for your suggestions! Will also look at the “S” class spreadsheet. Thanks again!

We lean towards aft cabins and would go with 1696 as it has a wider balcony and cabins above and below. If you prefer deck 8, we found 8349 very quiet with the only foot traffic coming from the suite next door. There's a separate vestibule for entry to these two cabins.
Thank you. Looks like 1696 is Concierge. Are the sunset veranda balconies larger than the side ones? If port or starboard in the Med , do you have a preference ?

We have enjoyed 1A on the slant too. just want to remind you that if you choose 1A, you can get it for the cost of 1B which will save you a few dollars. You have to ask when you book. You can also get B2B discount of $100 for a leg that is 10 days or more and $50 for less than 10. You also have to ask for this when booking. HTH.
Yes, aware of the Captain’s Club category upgrade, but not the B2B discount. Thank you!

Can you tell us why you don't like hump cabins? It would make it easier to provide recommendations.
We had them a few times & got a tunnel feeling. We felt closer to the sea with the standard balcony. May sound nuts!
