Hi it will be our first time in the Caribbean this February and we will be visiting Aruba and while there am looking at getting a bus from the station to the butterfly farm but after that we would like to go on palm beach
Do we just go to the nearest hotel and walk through it onto the beach and then rent a chair etc
Or get back on the bus and go to a certain bus stop to access the beach
Thanks for any help

We have always done p and o but booked with NCL nxt year as they are starting to sail from southampton as their itinerary and their prices were excellent especially going in kids holidays and free drinks package included
The cruise we have booked is for 15 nights and goes to norway, iceland and also does Orkney Isles, Shetland Isles, Invergordan, Newhaven (edinburgh) and Newcastle.
I am really excited to visit these ports as I have never visited scotland before and have always wanted to.
There is so much I want to see like visiting Loch Ness etc. which I never get the chance to with p and o . As I will be taking my 11 year old daughter and usually the british isles sailings are on adult only ships.
I am a bit apprehensive with trying NCL but will see how it goes

I read the other day that there were russian warships passing through the channel
I wonder if that has anything to do with it

I was wondering with the pound dropping in value is there any value in diy excursions or is it still more expensive with p and o.
I looked on my cruise personaliser for our february cruise and the trips seemed good value especially with having a child with us

Hi i went last year and got a taxi from the town and flagged another taxi down near the aquarium to back to the ship for 3 of us
I think it cost about 12 euros there and the same back
It took about 15 minutes to get there
Also next to the aquarium there are cable cars if you fancy it

Thanks Keith for the reply.
One more question please. Are transfers from the ship to town centre included or do you pay extra or have to walk from ship

Hi I usually cruise with P&O but I have seen a cruise which I am interested in and would like a few questions answered please.
We are looking to travel on 19 August 2017 on NCL Jade from Southampton to Iceland and British Isles
1. My daughter will be 12 when we travel will there be many children on board for her and are the kids clubs on board this ship any good
2. What are the main differences between NCL and P&O
3. What are the speciality restaurants and are they expensive
4. Is the free drinks package the best free upgrade
5. What is the dress code for evenings. Will I need a tux for a few nights like I do on P&O
Sorry for asking so many questions but any help would be gratefully appreciated

Hi me, my wife and 11 year old daughter are going on our first carribean cruise in February.
After looking on the internet we would like to do quite a few excursions like - stingray city, jeep safaris, zip lining, sea trek, swim with turtles.
Would I be best booking with P&o on board or booking with tour guides online like Cosol etc or just getting ashore and choosing which excursion we fancy that day
How much roughly should I be paying for jeep safaris etc and is it any cheaper booking online for an excursion or waiting till ashore and choosing
Thanks for any replies

Does anyone know when doing a P&o cruise to Caribbean are we allowed to use beach towels off the ship or do we need to take our own.

We went there a couple of years ago. It was our very first port on our very first cruise and it never stopped raining.
Not a great deal to do there but we went round the naval museum which was good and the boatmaking museum which was a little boring for me and my family.
Sorry cant help on your questions.

Hi we are on Azura in May and visit Olden on 24 May.
I have been looking at getting the local bus to the glacier instead of paying for P&o excursion and save a few pennies.
When I looked at the local bus timetable it says it runs daily from 1 June to 31 August.
Can anybody tell me if this is correct and if it is which would be the best way to get to the glacier for me my wife and 10 year old daughter.
Thanks

We were on the last azura cruise before the transatlantic when the outbreak of NV started. My wife was laid up for a couple of days so we missed cadiz[emoji20]. Anyway out of the blue we got a pleasant surprise this morning from p&o giving my wife £93 future cruise credit or £70 cash as my wife was ill and she had adhered to the cleanliness and safety procedures and informed the ship doctor of her illness while on board.

We are traveling on Azura on 16th October and me and my family will be getting off the ship and doing our own things while ashore rather than pay for the the ship excursions.
While there we will be getting a train from Livorno and also one from Citavecchia to travel to Pisa and Rome.
In Pisa we would like to go up the tower and look in the various museums and while in Rome we would like to go to either the Vatican or the Colosseum.
Should we buy the entry tickets before we go or should I buy them there or will the queues be very long.

Hi my wife was diagnosed with coeliac disease earlier this year and is concerned about eating wherever we go now.
I do know that with club dining my wife get to see the next nights menu to choose from but we would also like to eat in the speciality restaurants like sindhu but would like to know if they also do gluten free meals.
If anyone has had any experience of these any info would be greatly appreciated.
