Were there no other foods on the buffet then? As celebrity serve every day, but not a problem as there are numerous other dishes to chose from which keeps most folk happy. As my husband and friend love their curries well that's them sorted and my friend and I will have a salad or some other dish from the buffet station, I dont like Burgers and fries or any other fried food but wouldn't begrudge the people who do like this sort of unhealthy food. If carnival only serve curries please accept my apologies but to people who love and have grown up with curry they need their fix!

Batiste all the way, never travel without a can but then again I don't swim so use it between washes and gives extra body, no flaking but it's just fine talc in a spray form, if used to much it does build up on your scalp.

As Brits we love our Indian food, we love spicy meals, and couldn't think of a cruise without having it at least once for lunch, in fact my hubby and his friend have it most days for lunch, we find on Celebrity the buffet is superb and caters for all nationalities so the variety is there for sure, from Italian, Mexican you name it even Jamaican Jerk (which I asked for them to prepare and they were delighted) so I find having Indian food no problems for the people who don't like on the Celebrity line, it caters for all likes! :):):)

My husband and I shared a table with two gay men on our last Celebrity cruise, friends now for life, couldn't care what sexuality you are it's the personality what counts and if you hit it off

Just bought every flavour back from our Daughter who lives in Perth WA including peanut butter, sorry not a patch on a good ole British biscuit, and someone mentioned a Twix bar now that is good!!

I will be wearing a long gown and a cocktail dress on our two chic nights DH will be in black suit, love the elegance, would not dream of going casual on any night, that's my choice .

Yes we got the premium on our last cruise on the Celebrity Silhouette and included most cocktails, finer wines, Chandon, grey goose etc, speciality coffees, we have the basic package this time which was in with the cruise but will upgrade for sure.

If I have a drink in the day maybe a iced cocktail or one cold beer then before dinner we start with Chandon sparkly ( equivalent to champagne) maybe have two, then around 3 martinis, wine with dinner around four glasses, after dinner liquor then back to a bar where I have several cocktails, we also have the premium package, back home I only have wine at weekends, it's the social scene with friends on board and that is why we consume this amount per day and trying out new cocktails.

Curries for us probably is like an hamburger to the Americans, I eat at least once a week either homemade or from a Indian restaurant, it's just a UK staple now and every high street has several restaurants, couldn't imagine life without them and yes on board we do have for lunch in the buffet, in fact my husband and our friends had each day

Lyndaharve is just making humor. She's not serious. Now she's sitting back and cracking up at the reactions.
Sure am thought a little British humour was what it needs. But well spotted, perhaps I'm amazed at some of the postings myself, sorry for my sense of humour 😛

How much do you drink (alcohol) on a cruise?

Our last cruise last month went like this on an average day drink package suits us for sure
Day time
a couple of beers each
a couple of Martinis each
Evening before and with Dinner
4 cocktails before dinner each
half a bottle of wine with dinner each
Liquor such as sambuca or Brandy (2 each)
Bars after Dinner
About another 6 drinks each, mainly Harvey Wallbangers (Grey Goose Vodka), Chandon, or Hendricks Gin and Tonic And you would never see us drunk, spaced it out, ate between and only drink like it with friends and family on Cruises, and that's why the Drink Package is for us
