On the silhouette in August we saw some beautiful gowns, my friend and I also took really formal dresses nothing looks out of place, meeting in the martini bar dressed up is a special part of the cruise so if I were you I would take your best dress and go for it !

Yes, dont blame you for thinking that is a lot of drink we get through, and to be honest it is but I only do it on holiday and none of us (4) have ever fell down or appeared to be drunk ( I would be mortified) and its spread out over early evening into the early hours, food soaks it up but we really do like to try all the variations on a lovely cruise especially the Mocular bar mixes, now home my hubby and I do not drink only on occassion, but we do not like a large bar bill at the end and yes we would still drink the same amount if we never had a package so for us it makes sense.

We would only sail with Celebrity now just got back from the silhouette loved it outstanding ,especially after only ever sailed with Thomson before, it's like comparing a travel lodge to the Savoy? Celebrity one word CLASS!

We had the premium and glad we did, as we really like to try different cocktails and wines,also includes speciality coffees and pastries in cafe bacio. In our package we had top of the range spirits like grey goose vodka and Hendricks gin. Each evening we started with Chandon (the celebrity version of champagne) which was very good then at least 3 cocktails before dinner, wines matched to each course at dinner, after dinner liquors then more cocktails in the bars or nightclub till at least 1am, never drank anything other than bottled water in day but our friend drank beer so yes for us great value and would never sail on a ship without it.

Just got back from the silhouette and yes curry and other Asian stations in the Buffet very good ,our favourite was the Indian,also got some Jamaican jerk cooked fresh just ask, very nice.

We were told it's more expensive on board then pre ordering on line

We booked premium drink packages on our forthcoming cruise on the Silhouette, it's a no brainier for us, we like our New Zealand wines and cocktails plus covers most martinis unlike the classic which only allows a choice of about six we have been told !

If one gets bored, they can always switch someone's door decorations to another cabin :D

 

We decorate our doors with something appropriate to our roll call, destination, or holiday. I suspect that all those who do so are fun loving people.

Thanks for your lovely blog but after seeing that huge beast of a ship it's sure turned me off sailing on that! I much prefer classier smaller ships, but everyone to their own just not for me, looks like a holiday camp at sea!!!

Yes totally agree love the ankle grazer trousers and wear these myself here in London, also agree on ones that end just over knees they do shorten I'm 5'2 and petite and find this length is far better on me.

Sounds perfect to me especially shoes as London does have rain !!! Saw a young lady at the London coliseum wearing gold sequins while others were in jeans but she stood out and looked fab so anything goes ! Brolly good idea.

Benefit they're real big seller in U.K. Really lengthens them or YSL can't go wrong

Yes works well , depends if tapered or lose , if short height then tapered trousers and not wide legs ! Look lovely dressed with heels . Very in here in the U.K.
