  1. Hi Anni,

Four of us (all adults) will arrive Rostock on Pullmantur Monarch on Aug. 12 at 8am and will leave at 8pm.

Any suggestions as to what to do from 9am to 7pm?

We don't want to venture to Berlin.

We may go to Rostock City Centre, Schwerin Castle and Molli train.

Can these be done in our restricted time (9am-7pm) and how?

We are open to suggestions as this is the first time for us visiting Germany.

    Thanks.

  2. Hello Lars,

Thanks for the beautiful pictures of Alesund. I'm sure I'll be there.

I'm going on a cruise to Flam, Geiranger, Alesund, Eidfjord and Stavanger in Aug.

I have some questions and hopefully you can shed some lights.

    1. Is any any excursion that can bring us to the glacier? From which port?

    2. We are taking a cruise. Isn't taking a fjord excursion to see the fjord a duplicate experience of the sail in and sail out of the ship?

    3. Which port will be the best to go on a RIB?

    4. If we rent a car, which port is the best to rent a car for about 8 hours, Geiranger, Alesund or Eidfjord?

Thanks so much and I appreciate your help.

  3. My cruise will stop at the above ports in August 5-10. It's a group of 4.

    1. Is there any excursion that will bring us to the glacier?

Would you know from which port?

    2. We are taking a cruise, isn't taking a fjord excursion to see the fjord a duplicate experience of the sail in and sail out of the cruise ship?

    3. we booked the Flam train but quite confused as to what else to do.

    4. If we go on a RIB, which port will have the best scenery?

    5. If we rent a car, which port is the most convenient to rent and fully utilize the car for 6-8 hours?

    Any recommendation is welcome.

  4. let's reference this map

EPIC uses T-10 on the north or A side .... you are not allowed to walk over the bridge back to the 'mainland' SO ..... you got's to hire a ride to get anywhere ..... as your group is 8 you will almost certainly need 2 taxi .... but you might get lucky with a van (or friendly by sitting in each other's lap)

If all you want to consume is 2 - 4 hours (and you don't mention what time of the year) I would simply take a taxi(s) to GRILLS {or Fishlips or Rustys} which are all restaurants 'in the port's Cove area (see the map) ..... you can libate and have a nice meal. I prefer Grills

    Lion Fish app' at Grills

Or ... you can ask to be dropped at Jetty Park if you want a lil beach time (see the same map)

Or take taxi to Cocoa Beach Pier ..... a bit farther away

    Hi Capt_BJ,

Would you know which Terminal will Anthem of the Seas dock at?

    Thanks so much.

  5. That's a very good idea! Really appreciate it.

I may not do it on Dec. 13 when I leave PE as I can get a late disembark and head directly to MIA to go aboard Celebrity Reflection.

I'll consider a rental car on Dec. 20 when I disembark at POM as my flight from MIA is at 4pm.

Do you know if I can get a rental at POM and return it at MIA?

I was thinking to join the HOHO excursion with MIA drop off from Celebrity Reflection on Dec. 20. It's $120 for 2 persons.

Now a rental car sounds better.
