Can the non-refundable OBC, be used towards the purchase of cruise next certificates? Thanks
Yes it can, I have done it before.

You need to go to your summary. Under Itinerary, Onboard Packages, Gifts & More Items you see the itinerary by day. When you click on a day, it will tell you what you have booked for that day and the time.

NCL Bliss, October 20th-27th to Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, and Puerto Vallarta leaving from San Pedro, CA.
-
NCL has no drink limit per day with the drink package, whether purchased or as a perk.

Something to keep in mind...just because it is sugar free does not mean it is low on carbs. I have been type 1 diabetic for 47 years and have found that most "sugar-free" items have more carbs than their "sugar" items. Sometimes it is better to eat the things with sugar in them to avoid higher carbs. I have also done 8 cruises so far and never had an issue with finding no carb meals as that is how I prefer to eat. You just need to check your sugars more often while cruising to make corrections when necessary.

Update for the Star, just off her on 3/9/19. Only smoking areas are port side deck 7, Sky High Bar starboard side, and in the casino. Smoking was not allowed in H2O or on the pool deck at all.

Ok, I am confused now. Star 3/1/19 sail date shows no cabins available at all yet they are still offering sail away rates for both insides and balconies. How can they offer that if there are no cabins available? I have bids in but don't know how I will get one accepted unless someone cancels within the next 17 days, then I have a chance. Does NCL hold some cabins, show them as sold, and then use them for the last minute bookers that book the sail away rates?

I got an email at about 70 days saying the eDocs were ready to be printed.....

Thank you LincolnLog, good to know when trying to figure out expenses. I saw they had a shuttle but I could not find if it was complimentary or if there was a charge. We are just staying there 1 night pre-cruise. Going to airport after cruise.

I have a question about the Crowne Plaza. Did the shuttle to the port cost anything or was it free? Loved your review.

CruiseGal999, it was my understanding that it would be charged against my credit card as it is the only one that was used for the entire booking as I paid for everything else and the bookings were linked together. I did pay her deposit with my credit card and then she paid me back that amount a few weeks later.
-
CruiseGal999, I just booked the cabin for her, she paid me for the deposit and she is aware that she lost it also. I paid for our cabin and one of my sons cabin and my son will pay me back if he can....if he can't, I am OK with that. I had no intention of paying for any of my DIL's mother cabin, she wanted to go and she though she could afford it. We thought the extra hands for the 2yr old twins that are going would be great. Unfortunately, she works on commission only and it has not been a few good months so she could not afford it. Thank you for your input though. Sorry you got stiffed, that must have been awful.

I hear you there Shaded Lady. I have learned my lesson. She assured me she would be able to pay. I offer to pay for her and she could pay me back but she would have nothing to do with that....lol

Thank you all for your replies. I got through to another rep today and they had the names switched around in about 5 minutes. I think the trick was not to mention that I wanted to cancel 1 of the cabins.....lol.

Sorry to confuse. Had 3 cabins booked originally. One with me, my husband, and one grandchild (balcony-deck 7), One with my son, DIL, and two grandchildren, (balcony-deck 7), one with my other son and his husband (balcony-deck 7). I then added a 4th cabin for my DIL's mother and her son (inside-deck 7) but when I added the cabin DIL's mother was put in the 2nd balcony with my son and 2 grandchildren and my DIL and her brother were put into the new cabin (inside-deck 7). They are saying I can't change names in the balcony cabin from DIL's mother to DIL or in the inside from DIL to DIL's mother due to the VIFP numbers. I want to cancel the inside cabin because DIL's mother and her son cannot cruise (or pay).
-
Ok, I originally booked 3 cabins for our family cruise, 2 balconies right next to each other and another one at the back of the ship on the same deck. Then my DIL's mother wanted me to add a room for her and her son. So I booked the room but DIL's mother wanted to be in the same room as her grandkids so we had her put in the room with my son and had my DIL put in room we just booked with her brother. Now DIL's mother cannot pay for the cruise and asked me to cancel. Final payment is 1/2/18 that will be put against my cc unless I cancel. Carnival is telling me that we can't cancel the 1 cabin and move my DIL back to the cabin she started with because of the VIFP numbers. They are saying that in order to do this they have to put my son and DIL in a different cabin on a different deck. I tried to change the names online but was unsuccessful, said I needed to call. Any help to get this done would be greatly appreciated. BTW my personal cruise planner is on vacation until 1/2/18. Help!

I have celebrated several of mine and my husbands birthday in board without checking the box and got the cakes and singing at dinner. Your birthdate is in the reservation so they know...

I just cruised in September and I had $350 OBC from world points. It did not go towards my casino charges. I tried to charge $200 to my room and I still had $350 OBC. Ended up having to buy some cruise next deposits to use the free OBC.

E-Gift card use

Thank you for the suggestion PrincessArlena'sDad, I had 2 e-gift cards and didn't want to take the extra time to add them to my account once on board. I just purchased cruise cash with them, problem solved.
