Very true! My husband wants to go shopping and I want to sit on the beach. Just wanted to know the weather so I can figure out whether or not to argue with him about it, lol.

It's a $5 match play coupon good for even money bets on table games, not a $5 credit that can be used just anywhere in the casino.

What qualifies as a classic drink?

Not sure what the program is called. I just read somewhere if you get them you can get the credit. But, just remember the receipts as Bill&Karen pointed out.

I heard you can get a $5 credit towards the casino for each classic drink you buy. Is this only at certain times or with specific bars?

Is the cruise insurance the same thing as the Vaction Protection? If so, I just posted about this too. Sorry... :o

Do you think it's worth it? I have two kids, ages 4 and 2. Does your regular insurance cover them or would you recommend the vacation protection?

Do they have a lobster night in the Black Pearl restaurant? If so, do you know what night it is on an 8-day cruise?

It really is no big deal to reschedule the reservation, just go once onboard and let them know what happened.

Maybe save the steak house till later in the cruise when you are confident they love being at kids club.

Not really worried about that with my kids. They'll go to anyone. I'm more worried I won't be able to get them out of there, lol.

If they weren't fighting I'd walk over to them especially cause I wouldn't want my two toddlers waking up.

But, I'd go over with the assumption they did not realize how loud they were being, apologize for bothering them, offer them a bottle of wine and very, very politely ask if they could keep the noise down. Sometimes walls are paper thin and they just might not realize it. I find honey coupled with bribery works well to get what you want with minimal interference. :D

If that didn't work, I'd call security.

I would be so mad if I got charged for the dinner because I received wrong information...

I called up Carnival to verify the hours on the first day so we could book the Steakhouse Restaurant. The woman I spoke to verified it with the Manager that the hours are from 2-5pm and 7-10pm.

I wanted to share. Has this been everyone's experience on the first day?

It would be great if they told us stuff like this in advance because the site recommends to book the restaurant at least a few weeks in advance. How are we supposed to do that if we don't know the CC hours? Lol. :rolleyes:

Unless I planned to bring the kids but I really don't want to bring a two and four year old... :p

I have a four and two year old also. I plan on bringing two umbrella strollers with a lock at Baby's R Us. That way, we can lock them together when we want so only one of us has to push them or if we want to push them separately due to room issues or whatever we can unlock it and push them separately.

Nakey butt is the quickest method.
