Seems to me that RCCL was right in front of Carnival. After it went away, Carnival popped up. Good luck!

I just read that somewhere. It comes back to you in the form of a gift card. Me, If I have any leftover, I will upload in the casino and then just cash out my Player's Bank. Me thinks I won't have much leftover unless I avoid the casino, tho.

It took me a few weeks to be able to snag mine. Would be sold out or gone completely. I finally got to order 5- $100 cards. Be warned, it took several weeks to receive then. Last cruise we used Verizon and printed the voucher instead of receiving the actual cards. Was much faster & more efficient, but sometimes having the actual physical card is a must. Presents to people, you know.

Was looking at cruises for January & February- Legend being one of them. I think your review was the clincher. Thanks so much!! Great review!!

I have no idea what the thing is, and I don't even know how I came across this thread. All I know is that is proves that cruisers are a weird bunch of people. I guess that's why I love to cruise so much. I don't have a cruise booked at the time (just a Next Cruise certificate on Royal Caribbean), and I'm in cruise withdrawal. Maybe the thing is used to implant subliminal messages into our brains, making us NEED to cruise again, thus keeping the cruise lines in business!

I think you are onto something waterfever! I knew there was a reason. We're sailing in October and that would have been our 9th Carnival cruise. Got a wild hair that if I took a 4 day out of Long Beach, it would then make Oct our 10th & we would be Platinum. So I really needed to rationalize spending the extra money. I decided that getting a batch of laundry done free would be a pretty darn good excuse. NOW I know it was that DooDa making me do it. Phew...mystery solved!

I have to tell you all that this thread has been the highlight of my day! I cruise with my really wierd family, but you all even make them seem sort of normal. Well, maybe I shouldn't go that far.

Wanted to let you know that I have been routing around my kitchen cabinets to get a count on how many collanders I do have (just in case).

In Long Beach- Hyatt Regency Long Beach. Bid $55 to start- they countered with $70, I added the LB airport zone- bid $65 and won it. $65, $5 travel insurance(don't usually get this, but wasn't paying attention-oh well), $17.53 taxes & fees. Total $87.03

We have played it on NCL, RCCL, and even a form of it on Disney. Actually won 1st place on the Star. They asked for a pair of dentures (out of the mouth), and a guy on our team looked for the oldest person in the room and then got on his knees and begged for them. Wore her down and (yuck) ran to the front holding them. I laugh till I cry every time I go see one. I just love it! It is the first thing we check for on the daily's every day.:D

I found a neat website- www.locogringo.com It has forums about inclusive resorts- things to do- etc. I really enjoyed it. Has a lot of info available. It's interesting that a lot of people tend to favor the lesser star resorts south of town. Like the last poster said- and even further south- like in Akumal.
