In the past 15 years, I've only sailed with Royal about 6 times, every other year or so. So no, I like the idea of basically knowing what to expect. Same thing with Celebrity and NCL. I just mix up our cruises between the three different cruise lines so we experience various entertainment, dining, ship facilities that separate one line from another. Perhaps you should venture into other CL's to put some adventure back into your cruises?

When you get on board, got to the Spa and inquire about them. Usually they're giving tours of spa facilities including the PG area, also offering the package for purchase at this time. Enjoy!

Loved the Escape. Twice so far. Be sure to give Food Republic a try, many times during your week and enjoy dining out on the waterfront area. Great upper mgmt. staff and crew. Be sure to sign up for the roll call and attend the M&G they host. They did a Fabulous time with our group of 90 CC group in March, you wouldn't want to miss it.

Now there's one I didn't see coming! Going to the Dreamwork's b'fast? Have fun kiddo! Hope you post some pics. Have a great day
Would be pretty sad day if the best bartender was at the Bionic Bar haha

Same for the second ice skating show, I Skate? There are no additional shows to book once on board separate from the ones available in the cruise planner, correct?
-
Curious why you think so? We had planned to go to Columbus Cove with a 4yo, best choice for us?
-
What is the cost for lunch at Jamies? Same menu, etc? Thanks

Watched you sail away today! Enjoy your week on the Harmony, our turn comes up in 3 weeks. Thanks for doing this review, also.

Sailing Harmony in a few weeks but haven't seen a 2 nt BOGO offer on cruise planner. Was this only available as an on board offer or were you able to prebook?

Believe you need to ask your room steward for one earlier in the day. At least that's what we were told when we tried to place an order last time. They didn't exactly seem to want us to place an order we felt it was considered more of an annoyance at the time. We decide to just go up to the buffet instead

What's the current cost to upgrade per day to the Premium package from Classic? Love my Aspen coffees also.

We've usually driven to Miami or Ft Lauderdale the day prior to our cruise to spend the night and park our car. This past time we stayed the night in hotel but decided to park in Miami for the 7 nts. It was really nice to just drive right up to the port and walk our bags over to the terminal and vice versa on our way back. No waiting at hotel for the shuttle with hoards of other cruise passengers and all that luggage! Also, you still have to get a taxi from the port back to hotel, in lineup with everyone else at a cost of $30 or so for the two of us. Transportation isn't included in the hotel package usually. We debate the cost depending on length of cruise and time of year/hotel rates.

Do you recall what time Hideaway Heist was at on the last day? Was it offered more than once? Enjoyed reading your comments, thanks!
-
Ok, thanks. Sounds like it will be heading down towards Columbus Cove area, which is where I was thinking of going for the day

Enjoyed reading your tips, thanks! Do want to ask where did you go to rent the SUP board? Did they offer these at all rental locations while on Labadee?

Yes, Chops is available for lunch on day 2,3 and 7 @ $19 p/p for our upcoming Harmony cruise. What is the price of Jamie''s for lunch? Anyone know? And same menu as dinner?

I've done the Ultimate dining with Celebrity probably on 7 different cruises, and loved it. It's my understanding they've done away with this Ultimate package and have changed to a set price for x amount of nights. You can dine as many times as you wish in whatever restaurant you choose during the cruise. Lunches are no longer included in the pricing either. With Ultimate there was a limit to the number of people they'd allow to purchase this package, often very few. The old way, they'd tell you what restaurants and how many nights you'd dine in each depending on the package you bought.

Pretty much each night of the cruise. Enjoy trying out all the new ones available as the opportunity arises. We plan on spending the additional cost once we book our cruise since we enjoy the experience. Just don't care for the MDR atmosphere anymore. We usually do have a breakfast and a lunch in there throughout the week though. Anything other than the buffet, dread that place

Thanks! One more thing, what's the floor surface like, wondering if it's super slippery? I ask because on last cruise with 3yo at the time, the kids pool area was more dangerous than the adult area. It was an older ship and different cruise line, but still was surprising to us at the time. We're sailing in May on the Harmony

Sorry, don't know the answer to your question, but do have one of my own. Can you book a Celebrity sailing with a Cruise Next?
-
Glad someone posted about this area as we'll be taking the 4yo who is just at the 42" height. Would be huge disappointment if she was just under, but now we'll be ready if the staff says no go.
Is that a hot tub also in this area? Are kids allowed as well?

You're welcome, and yes we did have a great week. Wish the lady that kicked me while walking the Waterfront hadn't been there. My leg is still hurting with a huge bruise too.
Just want to jump in here to let others know to sign up and attend their M&G for their sailing. Was told by the officers that they plan to change future M&G's to The District Brew house and provide beer, those great snacks, and music as we experienced. Really much nicer than Cagney's from our past experiences with NCL. They also invited us all a second time for a repeat with music, etc. on the last sea day. They really went all out for us CCer's this time around I felt. Way to go Escape staff!

We really enjoyed the priority embarkation and disembarkation recently on the Escape. Made a HUGE difference in our previous experiences in Miami. Got on board as soon as boarding began and did escorted disembarkation down through the Haven elevator straight to the terminal with our priority luggage tagged directly ahead of us in the terminal for pick up. Still had all the walk off people with us going thru customs, but that is to be expected.
Also enjoyed the new option of Cagney's and Moderno for dinners. Overall, we're glad to see the new changes for Platinum level.
FNDR on Harmony
in Royal Caribbean International
Posted
It initially wasn't listed on cruise planner for our Harmony sailing, but did become available as time went on. Keep checking. I ended up switching some entertainment in order to have FNDR as needed that 2 hour time frame for dinner
