Thanks everyone.  We’ve cruised out of sf lots of times.  Don’t really want to get up at 6am to catch the 8:30 train.  Someone mentioned staying in emeryville so that’s what we decided to do.

we’re leaving reno, taking Amtrak to emeryville, then Uber to our hotel for the night before the cruise.  Probably going to Uber back to emeryville to catch the train back to Reno.  You’ve given me some good ideas.

We’re taking Amtrak from Reno to emeryville and taking a cab to San Francisco for our upcoming cruise.  Would like to stay in emeryville to catch a train back to Reno.

any hotel recommendations?  Close to the train station with some good restaurants.

I signed up with Stockperks this morning.  When I tried to put my ‘Edward Jones’ connection, it said there is “no connectivity” with this company.

Do I have to get my statement from them.

We also were on the 50th anniversary in 2015.  We had a blast.  Captain Stubing  came on the speaker and said “this is your captain speaking.”  Jack Jones was also on the cruise.  Got lots of pictures.  Have a great autographed photo of the entire crew.

I may have saved it, I don’t remember.  I saw “Miami” on my phone and didn’t pick it up.  Thanks for your replies.

Anyone else annoyed by phone calls from Oceania after looking at their website.  We haven’t cruised since cruising restarted.  I logged on a couple of weeks ago and the next day I had a phone call.  Last night I logged on again to check some cruises and this morning got another call.  
 

Princess is doing the same thing, although we are done with Princess.  Oceania is so much better in many ways.  Wish they sailed out of sfo :).

If you’re looking for the best guacamole, Captain Tony’s is the best!!  A margarita and guacamole, great lunch.  Enjoy Cabo, been there many times.

Does anybody tip the person who delivers the drinks?  I know the tip is included in the price.

Now that princess is allowing oxygen concentrators, has anyone sailed recently?  I was wondering what company you used and how much notice they need before your cruise.  I’ve heard Scootaround and Special needs at sea.  I’m kind of new at this.

This must be something new with the glasses because he had glasses on for his old passport.

I haven’t seen this, but we had pictures taken by fedex, hoping they would send it in for us. Nope.  We went to the post office to the passport department and paid all the fees to expedite.

ok, they received it and mine came back a few weeks later, but my husband was sent a letter that he had to have his pictures redone because he had GLASSES on.

Neither fedex or the POst Office Passport DEpartment caught this.

fedex took his picture again at no cost and so we wait!!!!

I’m trying to keep up with all the health changes.  They updated their policy on october 28 to allow concentrators. 
 

I just spoke to a princess rep and she nicely sent the access department another email to contact me.  She said they use special needs at sea, which was mentioned above.

I bought an inogen 5 a couple of weeks ago and I really like it.  Princess told me they use “Oxygen Care Providers” but when I called the number it was Scootaround”.

i haven’t been on oxygen very long, so am kind of a newbie.

Now that princess is allowing oxygen concentrators, has anyone sailed with one.  I called princess to talk to the Access Department, and apparently they don’t have a number to call.  Okay, they gave me an email address, and I sent it two days ago and I have heard nothing.

would just like to know what I should do next.  We have a cruise booked the end of January.  I know they use a company called Scootaround.

Thank you all for your replies.  I will call Oceania on Tuesday.  Btw, we put our deposit down quite a while ago.  I’ve only recently been put on oxygen.

Anyone sailing with Oceania that requires oxygen.  Some lines are allowing it.  We had a princess cruise booked for Christmas and had to cancel it.  Oceania is my favorite cruise line and we have a long cruise departing in March.  Sure hope I don’t have to cancel.

Well we cruise to Hawaii every Christmas and have a suite booked for almost a year.  I’ve recently been put on oxygen.  We figured with all the cruises we’ve had to cancel, we could afford a suite.  Oh well c’est la vie.  

I just spoke to princess and first she said it was for new bookings only.  I told her I wanted something in writing so when I check in there are no problems.  She checked again and said unfortunately, no oxygen allowed at this time.

Wow, I just read that.  It said the policy is effective June 24, 2021, so I’m sure it hasn’t changed since then.  I’m very disappointed to say the least.  But thank you so much.

Thank you for your prompt response.  I use a large concentrator at home.  I will contact my provider and my doctor.

I’ve recently been put on oxygen.  We are scheduled on a princess cruise later this year.  Does the cruise line provide oxygen?  What is the best way to handle this.  Thank you for your help.

Long time Princess cruiser here.  You will LOVE Oceania!!  We did an 85 day cruise 3 years ago and absolutely loved it.  

We were also on the 50th anniversary cruise.  Was one of the best cruises ever.  Jack Jones was also on this cruise.  The whole crew was on the entire 2 week cruise.

We had two basset hounds named Beauregard and Gwendolyn, thus bandgbasset :).
