We're booked on the Spirit for the Hawaii/Tahiti itinerary departing May 19th.  Final payment is due Janaury 19th.  Trying to decide whether to cancel or put that much money on the line.  We were originally booked with a large group, but most of the group cancelled this week.  What are your thoughts on this one?? As it stands now, this would be only the second cruise for the Spirit after being shuttered for more than two years.

Our final payment for the 12 day Hawaii/Tahiti cruise in May is due January 19th.  If NCL doesn't change the 120 day window to 60 days, looks like all 21 in our group will be cancelling.  Not quite sure who NCL thinks it makes business sense to have all of these cancellations rather than extending the final payment window.  

NCL has changed the final payment deadline from 120 days to 60 days prior to sailing, but only for cruises starting on or before April 30, 2022.  We have a large group scheduled for the Hawaii/Tahiti itinerary in May, so our final is still due on January 19th.  With all of the current uncertainty, I guess we'll be cancelling.  Would love the option of the "60 days prior to sailing" to give us until mid-March to see how things are going, but I guess NCL would rather that we just cancel instead.  Are any of you in the same boat (or rather on the same ship)??

Yes, it is still happening.  The finale was in the Princess Theater and was very impressive! The finalists sang with the Princess orchestra backing them up.  The judges chairs were totally legit.  Audience votes for winner with remote voting keypads.  Definitely a "do not miss"!

Other than soft serve ice cream and gelato, is there ice cream available on Sky Princess?

We'll be on Sky Princess later this month. We received an offer for Wi-Fi. It's $14.99 per day and includes up to 4 devices. Does anyone know if we can include devices for our friends in other cabins if we sign up?

We'll be on the Sky Princess in a couple of weeks.  This will be our first time on Princess since many years ago.  We don't drink alcohol, but we're considering the "Classic Soda Package" that includes mocktails.  When we sailed Princess many years ago, it seems like there were lots of different mocktail options to choose from.  When we were on Norwegian last year (our first and probably last time on Norwegian), we could choose from pina coladas and daiquiris.  That was pretty much it.  Can any of you tell us what kind of selection we might find on Princess??

We are booked on the Sky Princess in several weeks.  It's been many years since we've sailed on Princess.  Does Princess provide towels that we can take with us into port so that we don't have to pack our own beach towels?  I'm guessing that they do, but just want to make sure.  Thanks.

We'll disembark from Sky Princess in Fort Lauderdale on January 25th.  Our flight doesn't leave Fort Lauderdale airport until 6:00 p.m., so we're in no hurry to get to the airport just to sit around.  If possible, we'd like to have a leisurely breakfast and disembark as late as possible.  Does anyone know how late that is?  How soon will they make us get off the ship?  Does anyone have suggestions on something to do in Fort Lauderdale that day to help pass the time???

We'll be on the Sky Princess in January.  If we've already received our medallions, will we be able to walk right on board without stopping at the registration desk at the port like we've always had to do in the past?  

For any of you who have been on Sky Princess, does it have saunas and steam rooms that you don't have to pay extra to use?

Are there self-laundry facilities on the ship?

We noticed that there is a gelato shop on the Sky Princess.  Does anyone know what the cost for gelato is??

We'll be on the new Sky Princess in January.  There will be 10 of us in our group and we're hoping that they can seat us all at the same table in the main dining room.  For those that have been on the Royal Princess or Regal Princess, do you know if they've had tables that accommodate 10 people?

If all charges have been paid (including taxes and port charges) and the fare is "non-refundable", would the port charges still be refunded if we had to cancel?

Our first trip on Celebrity is coming up soon.  We'll be on the Equinox next week.  Can somebody tell me if the Equinox (or Celebrity in general) has self serve laundry facilities?  Just helps us know how to pack. Thanks for your help. 

The mid-week laundry special is a great deal!  You can really fit a lot of clothes in the bag.  The bag does tear very easily, but we found that if you take one of the pillow cases in your room and put it inside the bag first like a liner, you can then fit a lot of clothes easily in the bag without it tearing.

We'll be on the Epic next week out of Rome, our first time on NCL.  I know that NCL doesn't have self-serve laundry.  I've heard they offer a $19.99/bag laundry special  half way through the cruise.  What's your experience with their laundry service?  We're wondering if they use super hot dryers and end up shrinking things.  Do things come back in good condition?  We line dry most things and don't want our clothes to get ruined, but we'll be traveling for several weeks and don't want to pack enough clothes for the whole time.  Thanks for any info.

We're new to NCL and will be on the Epic's seven day itinerary out of Rome on May 22nd.  I have a question about laundry.  I've read that most of NCL's cruises offer a $19.99/bag laundry special mid-way through the cruise.  On this itinerary, about 60% of the passengers board on Sunday in Barcelona.  The rest of the passengers board on Wednesday in Rome.  The day we board (Wednesday) will be half way through the cruise for the majority of passengers and we obviously won't need to do laundry at that point.  Will they likely offer the special again half way through our cruise, about the time the cruise is ending for the other passengers? 

My wife and I will be on the Epic later this month out of Rome.  This will be our first experience with NCL.  We'll each have a medium sized suitcase, as well as one carry-on sized suitcase.  Will we be required to set out our larger suitcase the night before disembarkation, or are we allowed to keep all of our luggage and walk out with it ourselves?  Thanks!

We're doing our first NCL cruise in May on the Epic.  Because NCL ships don't have self-serve laundry facilities available, looks our only option is to send out our laundry to have it cleaned.  Can we trust that they'll do a good job?  Our concern is that maybe they use really high temperatures to dry everything and things will come back shrunk and looking pretty beat up.  For those who have used these services, what has been your experience?  

We're considering booking a Princess cruise with the current promotion that provides a certain amount of onboard credit per person.  Does Princess allow the onboard credit to be used for the daily gratuities??  Thanks.

We're new to NCL and will be on the Epic out of Rome in about four months.  This "freestyle dining" stuff is all new to us.  There will be 10 in our group, and we're not interested in the specialty restaurants.  Do we need to be making reservations in advance for our group in the main dining rooms?  If so, how do we know what time the evening shows are so we can know what time to make the dinner reservations.  Also, any advice on which "free" places we should make reservations for?  Thanks!

We're new to NCL.  Our first NCL cruise will be this coming May on the Epic out of Rome.  One thing I'm not liking about NCL already is that there aren't any self-laundry options available. I know that there are ship laundry services available.  I've heard that there might be a "laundry special" during the week.  Can any of you tell me more about that?  What is the price and how much laundry can you fit in the bag?  In the absence of any "special", what is the price?  Thanks!
