One of the ports for our upcoming cruise is Cannes.  We'd kind of like to have a fairly laid back day at the beach.  Does anyone have recommendations/information for a good beach experience in Cannes that's not real expensive??

We'll be traveling on the Epic next May (our first time on NCL). Some have mentioned the laundry special that they offer, indicating that for $19.95 you can send anything you can fit inside the bag. However, they haven't really indicated how big that bag is? How big is it and how much can you fit inside of it?? Also, how gentle are they with the laundry? Do they heat and shrink the heck out of things??

Sailing on the Westerdam over Christmas. We're never quite sure how much cash to take, and usually take more than we need. If we should find ourselves needing more cash, is it possible to get cash from our credit card on the ship?

Are there many Christmas decorations? We'll be sailing Westerdam later this week.

We sail on the Westerdam from Port Everglades this Friday. Our flight arrives in Fort Lauderdale at 6:00 a.m. that morning. How early can we drop off our luggage at Port Everglades and find somewhere to sit. How early will we be able to get on the ship?

We arrive in Fort Lauderdale day of cruise at 6:00 a.m. Can't really check in at Port Everglades until around 11:00 a.m. Any suggestions of places to go at the airport to kill some time? We need to pick up our luggage as soon as we get there, so it would need to be somewhere pre-security at the airport. Thanks for any suggestions!!

Have any of you had problems packing aerosol sunscreen in your checked luggage when flying?

We're new to Holland America and will be on the Westderdam over Christmas. Does HAL allow you to take pool towels from the ship onto shore? Or do we need to pack our own beach towels? We're trying to pack as light as possible and would prefer not to have to bring our own.

We'll be sailing HAL for the first time in December on the Westerdam. Does anyone if its possible to get cash on board if we end up needing more than we bring? If so, how? Thanks.

Leaving out of San Juan next week on Adventure of the Seas. Can we take a case of water bottles with us? If so, do we have to carry it on with us, or is there some way we can check it with our luggage? Do they sell cases of water bottles on the ship? I know that several years ago on a Disney ship, we were able to buy a case on the first day at a great discount.

We'll be on Adventure of the Seas doing Southern Caribbean in February. We're trying to book flights and finding that options out of San Juan are somewhat limited. There is one flight out at 9:45 a.m. that has great connections, but we're worried that as early as it is, it might be a little too close for comfort. Any thoughts from those with experience out of San Juan???
