We will be in Mykonos, Greece for a day coming in on a cruise. Would love suggestions of things to do. What you loved etc. I have checked the "Ports of Call" and didn't find much.

Messaged John Heald on another site and he said he was going to ask about getting it reinstated. Sure hope Carnival will do that! I find it much easier and quicker than doing a mock booking.

The flour less chocolate cake is gone and also the scallop risotto. Be careful about ordering the jumbo tiger shrimp, they were split, and you get 3 of the tiniest shrimp you can barely scrap off the shell. Also do not order the tuna. 1/4 inch thick and way over cooked. They no longer offer the salmon and chicken as the usual stand bys each night. The chicken cordon bleu was very good though:D.

We cruised a couple of weeks ago and it was the first week of the new menu on that ship. Some items were very good and some were not. Wondering what your experience has been?

Oh no... I exercise in the pool and have always found the RCCL pools too cold. I have not found that on other cruise lines. Wonder why they do not make their pool water a comfortable temperature:(:(:(??

I would also like to know if the Solarium pool is heated? We will be on the TA in April. I sure hope it is. For some reason We have always found the pools really cold on RCCL. Thanks

John Heald would you please tell Carnival that we want "Carnival Fare Viewer" back. Doing "mock" bookings wastes Carnivals time and ours. Cruise Critic people want it back.! Thanks so much for your assistance in this matter..

Ok thanks. So Park Cafe is more like Cafe Promenade? We usually cruise on the larger ships that have cafe Promenade. RCCL is now charging $7.50 for room service.

Does anyone know if Cafe Latitudes has free coffee in paper cups like Cafe Promenade on other ships? Also, if they have self serve ice and water on Vision of the Seas?

Agree totally. Just got off the Liberty. What has happened to RCCL? They used to be my favorite cruise line. Now they are at the bottom of the list. Who is running this company now and making their loyal customers furious?? The changes they have made in the last 8 years to everything are awful and so maddening. You can't combine stockholder credit with "next cruise". So why bother booking onboard? Never ever buy their "10% off certificates like on AARP or Allstate. You cannot use them with your TA who booked our 3 B2B cruises coming up in April. Thus losing $1000 in OBC. The Windjammer was so jammed you couldn't move or find a table. They didn't open the Solarium food bar. Carnival beats them all around. Carnival we used to not like. They have stepped up their game big time. You can combine Stockholder credit with "next cruise" OBC. You can use their 10% discount AARP gift cards with your TA etc etc etc. They also offer Journey cruises with some really interesting itineraries.

So are drinks and coffees both loaded to your seapass card. Can you only use them when the DL is open. Will be new to diamond. Thanks

We board Liberty tomorrow. Any news on Fog delays with Liberty coming in to Galveston tomorrow??

We are turning Diamond and will be on a 6 week cruise. If the Diamond lounge is full don't they give you drinks at other bars and lounges loaded to your card?

Has Carnival started letting you prebook shore excursions with your OBC before you cruise like RCCL has started doing? I really like being able to do that. Hope Carnival is following RCCl's lead on that. Otherwise, I book else where or wait until I board to book.

We are sailing on the Vision also soon. Would love to hear about the Vision from those that have sailed recently. This will be our first time on the Vision, but have sailed Ecclesiastes often. Where were your favorite places to hang out during the day. Do they have an ice skating show? Best place to see the ocean while playing cards etc. Good good?
