I saw this somewhere else and thought it may be of interest if you are concerned about no representation in Russia.
Russia closes British consulate in St Petersburg. As EU citizens, Brits still have protection of all 27 other EU nations embassies in Russia.

Please, can anyone tell me how much this costs on the ship in $.
Does the cost vary by cruise or by ship?
To pre buy in UK the cost is £84.56
The service charge. How much is it in $ for a 14 night cruise?
(Do they charge for 14 or 13?, I believe it is $13.50)
Many thanks

Yes the burgers and hot dogs are still free. But are kept under warming lights. The rolls seemed to become toasted and the lettuce was cooked to a lovely insipid brown colour, the cheese in the burger had melted and become stuck on the paper wrapper and cooked solid. Chips were sometimes quite hard and the coleslaw was dried out. But actually they were quite nice and we enjoyed them a couple of time (Yes, we went back for more!). We didnt try the pay for food and didnt see anyone else trying it either.

Any idea what will happen to Cafe Jardin?

So the cruises mentioned above for Dec19 are for Dec 18? Is that correct?
-
Tried the P&O website. It wont let me search for Nov and Dec 2019. How do you find cruises for the end of 2019?
Many thanks.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately not on RCL, so no cruise line tour. Would have to do it independently. Have you any more information on the Centre? Have seen some not so good reviews - but you always get those.

Can anyone provide more information on getting a bus to the Turtles? And views and opinions on the Turtle Farm too please. How long would you stay at the Farm?
Is it a good idea to get a taxi tour round the island? TIA

Because of mobility problems we have booked a cruise line tour which is defined as going to a "small, contemporary Mayan community built around the remains of an ancient Mayan settlement".
Has anyone done this tour? What is it like? Does anyone know exactly where it goes? Any information?
TIA

Any one done a tour of the island with Daniel, (which includes the Hangout) ?
-
We are considering using Daniel Johnson for our tour. Pick up at port, site seeing and Hangout with option to stop at a resort for swim or lunch @ $40 pp. (Prices have increased for next year).
Would welcome comments/recommendations too.

Just looking for ideas within walking distance from ship's berth. Have been before and loved the walk along the front with shops and wonderful buildings. But is there a Fort? Anything else? TIA

For clarification what sort of hoops do cruisers from say the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand have to jump through to enter the EU?
On a recent Princess Scandinavian cruise ALL NON EU passport holders (which will be us soon) spent a long time having passports checked and queuing for face to face immigration interviews.

This link (are links allowed?) explains the delays at air ports - nothing to do with Brexit (but could well be a foretaste of things to come). Apologies if links are not allowed. Please ignore or delete.

Campolady - Thank you so much.

Campolady,
Please could I have your views on my plans for a Friday in Malaga in November
From reading all your great information we would like to go to Gibralfaro Castle. My husband has difficulties walking so would need transport up, but would probably be able to make our way slowly down. Are there taxis at the dockside? Appox cost? Or would the bus be best? We would need to exit the port and go to the park for bus number 35? where is the bus stop? Fare? How much is the entrance fee? What age do you become a Senior? Dual ticket as we would like to go to the Alcazaba as well. How do you get from the Castle (I know you said the 2 sites are not linked by pathways), is it far, walkable if you are not too good at walking? We are not keen on HOHO.
Then how would you get to the Roman Amphitheatre? Are they still digging there? Is there now an entrance fee? Then possibly down to the Ataranzana Market and maybe round the old town.
I saw mention of a lift to the Alcazaba, is it still a long climb up to the castle?
Sorry for so many questions, but any and all advice and information would be gratefully received.
Many thanks.

Will we see the return of the fuel surcharges ?
-
Thanks everyone. Especially my marina bay, I've had it confirmed from P&O now that babies under 1 can only do cruises with 2 consecutive sea days.
-
Any one know if there is a P&O 'rule' about the number of consecutive sea days on a cruise that would mean a baby under 1 year (but over 6 months) would not be able to go on? ~TIA
-
Brilliant postings, thanks for all the info.
Please could you let me know if they still have the free pub lunch in the Wheelhouse on sea days?
-
Is there a new style coffee card? I have one of the brown card type with all the punches still intact. Purchased last year. Unfortunately, due to health matters will not be cruising this year. Will I be able to use in the future at some point?

We were on Oceana in January, our first time on P&O for 3 years.
Unfortunately we have to agree with your comments.
