Just returned from cruise and we had AP Tours for an all day tour in Naples.

Just to reassure you we had a wonderful time with AP Tours (Giovanni(84) with no problems whatsoever. As was stated above our driver was waiting for us immediately outside the cruise terminal. We got there a few minutes early and he was there with a board with our name on it and we had a great day.

It seems to me that P&O over react in certain ways.

We had a dreadful cruise on the Pre Christmas Noro Virus cruise.

Some precautions were OTT, others not enforced or carried through, and some of the more obvious, basic necessities were not addressed at all. A complete mis-mash which turn out to be ineffectual.

Thanks for the information on the taxi and Herculaneum

For 75 euros you can gat the taxi from the port to Herculaneum and they will wait for two and a half hours and then the return? Brilliant. Guess the taxis can take 4 adults for that price? This was just the confirmation I needed. Do you think 21/2 hours is long enough? But with our mobility problems it will be plenty long enough for us!!

If you are travelling with family who are not Elite, can you take them into the Elite lounge? Can they partake of any of the food etc?

Please could you tell me what currency is used? Will they take Euors? $'s?

Sterling? Is it worth getting a small amount of local currency (is is Danish Krona?) or is there nothing much to spend it on?
