  1. It is possible that Princess is aware that many Princess loyals miss many aspects of the Grand class ships that are absent on the Royal class and that this is OK with them. Princess may be OK with leaving out these features as it helps keep their older ships full and use the newer ships to attract a new group of cruisers who aren't familiar with the Grand class.

  2. They are advertised as the same. Royal/Regal 142,229, New ship 143,000. So I would not expect much difference in size.

OK, when they started sailing the Royal, the reports were saying she was 141,000 GRT. So perhaps they have recalculated her size and now the third one might actually be exactly the same size, thanks.

  3. Going on the Royal for a Christmas cruise. I've been reading many of the reviews for passengers sailing on the Royal, but few are mentioning the tea tower. As a tea drinker, I like the idea but am curious if it is open daily or just for special events during the cruise. Anyone else who enjoys a good cup of tea have any insight?

I had specialty tea from the tea tower more than once on our cruise and really enjoyed it. It is open as far as I know, when the IC is open. However, not all the crew working at the IC knew much about the various teas available there.
