How are these beds reserved? Is it from the Celebrity website as an excursion or somewhere else? Thanks for the info. Also do you remember the cost?

We booked at the Excursion Desk once we boarded cost was $125 total not per person...that's a little misleading...you can have up to 4 or 6 people in that bed and its only $125 total

  2. So I want to book the dolphin encounter at blue lagoon but when I called them they said I had to book through my cruise ship - Celebrity - but when I look at the shore excursions they only have the Atlantis Dolphin Encounter.

Can I just book on my own to Blue Lagoon?

Thanks for any info from anyone who has done this before

    Michele

  3. Still can't get in...but just had a callback from X and they said they are trying to figure out what is going on since its multiple folks across multiple platforms.

So they are still pluggin away at it.

I must say I was impressed I got another callback with an update.:)

  4. Just got off the phone with Celebrity - they do realize its a system wide problem - that's a good step admitting you have a problem.

I could access and Manage My Reservation a week or so ago but haven't been able to since then. I've tried IE, Firefox, Chrome - even done incognito windows and cleared all caches. But still get the "unable to access the reservation" or the "can't access because being modified"

The nice lady on the phone said she was sending the issue over to their IT dept...hope they would be able to get it fixed.

This is an area where Princess beats out X hands down.

  5. We are doing a 3 day land before getting on the ship and I wanted to get a couple bottles of wine for me and my hubby before getting on the ship.

We start in Fairbanks then Denali then Talkeetna and don't want to have to carry them all 3 days so was thinking getting them in Talkeetna.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

  6. Saw your mention of AryMay's review of the Coral but I haven't been able to find it...

do you have the link you could share?

    Thanks

Did you read any of the trip reports in the sticks at the top of this forum? I read a lot of them and they were immensely helpful. Each person's experience is different based on age, interests, family size, mobility etc. So you can judge if your experience would be similar to theirs. Also read some articles etc from Frommer's or other travel books. You need to determine what most interests you and then start narrowing it down.i recommend starting with AryMay's review of her trip on the Coral last year. Great photos and lots of good insight.
