KWW88-Yes. The time before my flight.

Sunshine 2000, a question:
We have to get off the Millenium by 8 or 9 AM. My flight isn't until 2 PM. What can I do or where can I go during that timeframe? I assume we can't stay all that time at the airport.
-
Thanks, I will, but I figured that less people will be on that board.

Today my TA had Celebrity switch over my June 20th Summit cruise from Cape Liberty to the June 5th St. Maarten cruise. There was no mention of cancellation and no refunds or new FCC's mentioned. She said so it only worked out because she had an experienced Celebrity agent working with her.

I read somewhere online that it will open up at 9:00AM on 3/24.

A question about Celebrity Air. I've seen 2 opposite posts about whether passengers will be able to fly to St. Maartin on their own. I would prefer to fly there using my points. If I don't use Celebrity Air will the cruise price be lower?

What are the differences between the sunset verandas and regular verandas on the S class ships?

Unfortunately, at the current time the L&S policies do not allow for shifting cruises beyond May 2022. Consequently, barring a change by Celebrity, L&S isn't an option.
Thank you. I had forgotten about that.

Since the CDC has limited cruises to 7 days, I assume this 16 day cruise will be cancelled. I'd like to see about a Lift and Shift to 2022. I see the Millennium will be in Los Angeles Sept. 24, 2022. I'm hoping that there will be a Canal cruise from there, but I can't see any info after 9/24/2022. Does anyone have any info after 9/24?

My TA had to call Celebrity directly to get my chosen cabin,

The 2 itineraries you refer to were officially confirmed today by X for 2022, however, they have been modified. They will each be for 12 nights on the Summit departing from Boston to Iceland then returning from Greenland back to Boston (“open jaw”).
You are correct, neither sailing goes to Southampton. Unfortunately I missed the departure dates. They are supposed to be on the X website, but I couldn’t locate them. The info yesterday was wrong. The Iceland cruise leaves from Cape Liberty not Boston, but returns to Boston.

This is part of the Summit 2022 schedule that was put up for a day about a month ago. Notice it's only a 12 day cruise in each direction, so you can't do a Lift and Shift. It only goes to Iceland, not Southampton.
Also, it may not happen as it's not official and may be changed.

The question now is, will we be able to use the pool in future cruises under whatever new guidelines that the cruise line will have to put in.

My link was broken.

We cancelled our May 19th cruise and shore excursions and Aug.16th shore excursions on Mar.8th. I received my FCC in 4 days. I received my 50% credit and all my shore excursions credits this morning.

I've been waiting for my 50% refund for a cancelled cruise and refunds on cancelled excursions since Mar. 8th. Nothing so far, even though excursions were booked and cancelled online. I received the FCC in 4 days.

We've always asked our waiter for a plate of butter and it was there every night. We never had to bring our own.
-
We ask for and receive as many wrapped butter pats as we need, so we can put it on rolls and baked potatos. Thet put them on a plate and have it there when we arrive for dinner.

Thank you everyone for your input. He came late last night. I asked him how many cabins he has and what were his hours. He has 15 cabins and works 8am to 2pm and 6pm to 9pm. I asked if he could do our cabin around 9am and around 6 to 7pm and he said he could. Today he was here about 9am and 6:30pm. That timing is perfect for us, so I hope we're good to go for the rest of the cruise.
By the way, we saw SIX today and it was an enjoyable and very high energy show. We liked it (my wife loved it), but a lot of the lyrics were hard to understand. I've seen Siglo several times and they're a very good rock band.

Thank you for all your suggestions. We're in the room now after dinner and we haven't seem him. I guess he does start later as several people have mentioned. We didn't need turndown service tonight as he keeps the cabin very clean. The next time I see him, I'll ask him what is a reasonable time to do the cabin.
-
We asked for the night turndown while we are at dinner as it's always been done on other cruise lines. Is this something that can't be done? We'd rather he clean the cabin while we're out. He's here now cleaning while we're in the cabin.

It's working fine and being ignored.

We're on the Bliss now. Day 3 of our 14 day cruise. It's now 1:20 and our steward has yet to come in for the morning cleanup. On the first day my wife told him at around 9 PM when he came to clean that we eat early and could he clean the cabin in the evening at 6 Pm. The next day he came at 9. Is this normal? On other cruises, they cleaned the cabin around your schedule. How many cabins do they have? Why do they come so late? We don't want to complain to his bosses as we have to live with him for 2 weeks. What can we do?
