  1. Today my TA had Celebrity switch over my June 20th Summit cruise from Cape Liberty to the June 5th St. Maarten cruise. There was no mention of cancellation and no refunds or new FCC's mentioned. She said so it only worked out because she had an experienced Celebrity agent working with her.

  2. Since the CDC has limited cruises to 7 days, I assume this 16 day cruise will be cancelled. I'd like to see about a Lift and Shift to 2022. I see the Millennium will be in Los Angeles Sept. 24, 2022. I'm hoping that there will be a Canal cruise from there, but I can't see any info after 9/24/2022. Does anyone have any info after 9/24?

  3. The 2 itineraries you refer to were officially confirmed today by X for 2022, however, they have been modified. They will each be for 12 nights on the Summit departing from Boston to Iceland then returning from Greenland back to Boston (“open jaw”).
You are correct, neither sailing goes to Southampton. Unfortunately I missed the departure dates. They are supposed to be on the X website, but I couldn’t locate them.

The info yesterday was wrong. The Iceland cruise leaves from Cape Liberty not Boston, but returns to Boston.

  4. 7-Aug-22 12 Greenland & Iceland New Jersey: Cape Liberty, At Sea, Nova Scotia: Halifax, At Sea, Newfoundland: St John’s, At Sea, At Sea, Greenland: Qaqortoq, Prins Christian Sund (Cruise), At Sea, Iceland: Akureyri, Iceland: Isafjordur, Iceland: Reykjavik

19-Aug-22 12 Greenland & Iceland Iceland: Reykjavik , Iceland: Isafjordur , Iceland: Akureyri , At Sea, Prins Christian Sund (Cruise), At Sea, Qaqortoq,, Greenland, At Sea, At Sea, Newfoundland: St John’s, At Sea, Nova Scotia: Halifax, At Sea, Massachusetts: Boston

This is part of the Summit 2022 schedule that was put up for a day about a month ago. Notice it's only a 12 day cruise in each direction, so you can't do a Lift and Shift. It only goes to Iceland, not Southampton.

Also, it may not happen as it's not official and may be changed.

  5. Thank you everyone for your input. He came late last night. I asked him how many cabins he has and what were his hours. He has 15 cabins and works 8am to 2pm and 6pm to 9pm. I asked if he could do our cabin around 9am and around 6 to 7pm and he said he could. Today he was here about 9am and 6:30pm. That timing is perfect for us, so I hope we're good to go for the rest of the cruise.

By the way, we saw SIX today and it was an enjoyable and very high energy show. We liked it (my wife loved it), but a lot of the lyrics were hard to understand. I've seen Siglo several times and they're a very good rock band.

  6. Thank you for all your suggestions. We're in the room now after dinner and we haven't seem him. I guess he does start later as several people have mentioned. We didn't need turndown service tonight as he keeps the cabin very clean. The next time I see him, I'll ask him what is a reasonable time to do the cabin.

  7. We're on the Bliss now. Day 3 of our 14 day cruise. It's now 1:20 and our steward has yet to come in for the morning cleanup. On the first day my wife told him at around 9 PM when he came to clean that we eat early and could he clean the cabin in the evening at 6 Pm. The next day he came at 9. Is this normal? On other cruises, they cleaned the cabin around your schedule. How many cabins do they have? Why do they come so late? We don't want to complain to his bosses as we have to live with him for 2 weeks. What can we do?
