Way to go, Phil. Wish we were sailing together again.

We were onMillennium in Asia twice. The itineraries are great; the ship is a way to get there. Set realistic expectations and you will be fine. I kept running into passengers who were confused because they had heard raves about Celebrity and didn’t realize they weren’t sailing S class.

We have 6209 on Solstice inJan if you have any reports on smoke or noise.

I have missed the sushi in the buffet and the brunch which replaced the midnight buffet. But Aqua Spa specials are my " go to" for lunch. - some of the best food on the ship.

What are the chances for getting a footrest ina1 A or 2 D?

The 1st and 3rd from the hump are the largest balconies.

Some are 2D with obstructed view; other 2Cs have been reported to have noise from engine.

Is the noise specific to the Solstice? We have 6209 onSolstice and want to change to stsrboard to avoid being over smoking area. Was thinking if switching from 2D to 2C for less of an obstruction andnow learning about noise issues...

Also booking onEclipse- is the noise on Eclipse also?

We have 6209 on Solstice ( NZ) and 6208 ( W. Med) on Eclipse.

My understanding was that you need the premium package to only pay the difference; classic no credit.

We sailed in AQ on Millennium lastMarch and were told by maitre d' that we could not order from MDR menu.

Jumping on....was just going to post this very question. Looking at Solstice jan- march either GBR or NZ. I have always wanted to snorkel GBR - know it isn't the best time but need to flee Boston winter. But is the NZ itinerary better?

We did the Ayathula tour with Ms Air of BKK- the absolute best guide anywhere. Some people touringeith us went back to Bangkok for the night and toured the next day.

Everyones who used BKK was tbrilled with them.

How much was the taxi from port to downtown Shanghai? Was it metered?

We have looked into transfers. One is $67 for 2 people with meeting right outside port but not English speaking driver. Other is a little more expensive wirh English speaking driver but unclear where they pick up. Said a few minutes walk from hall. ( or do all drivers meet you and then walk to where parked?)

Thinking the same thing since we did opt to upgrade to AQ. Didn't realize the FV was the aft. Looking forward to trying Blu though.
