FYI, Cekebrity cancelled Bali on the most recent Millennium cruise due to terrorist threats.

Share many of the frustrations. Had elite time but connection was so slow I got tense seeing my time run outwithout bring able to use it much. Thinking of using OBC and elite discount to purchase unlimited next cruise.

Wondering how it worked for people. Do you just try to stay connected or does it keep shutting down? Was hoping that emails could load when connection better during night.

Don't want to pay and still be frustrated. ( had passport for texts in port but not at sea).

We reserved online for 7:15. Never had to wait although we saw other couples being given a buzzer for when a table was available.

Just booked 3142. Any noise from MDR above?

They offer lunch on a sea day for $25 ( I think) so does Qsine... I had the same thought of one last dinner at specialty and heard Olympic is one of nicest.

What cruise lines can do is post a notice in tbe dailies when calling at a port which has a high level of the diseases so passengers can take precautions. In the early days of chikungyunga I was concerned about the elderly passengers on Eclipse and had to argue with guest relations to get a notice in daily....

We were on May 30 SOS last year. It and the time in Copenhagen was great.

The CC person said that if we cancelled, the OBC would be refundable. However, she also didn't realize that I could reserve a specialty restaurant without prepaying...

There is an excursion we would like on day 2 of cruise. overpriced but using OBCs would lessen the pain. Thought of pre - booking, cancelling and booking with OBC on board. hadn't thought about waitlist, would that even apply?

However, don't want more nonrefundable OBCs...

Anyone know? Thought of calling Celebrity but not sure info would be correct...

We did this when touring with Tex. Just us on boat and we got a Bodden discount.

Tex coordinated with boat operator so he would know exactly when and where to meet up.

We had an OBC for booking onboard. Used it for internet. Also, tbe gift shop had a sale on local jewelry so I now have a silver, turtle necklace!

Want to go to Lantau. Trying to figure out if better to go from hotel in TST or ship in KT. Had read that need to return by 5 even though departure not until 8.

Hi, Texkan. Think it was discontinued right before we sailed on Eclipse Feb. 2013; we had been telling people about it and it never happened. Sounds like varied by ship.

Know Millenium is going into drydock right after we sail in March 2017.

In all our tours in Greece we had a driver/ guide. In Athens we had Dimitri with PK who was an excellent ( and resourceful) driver and also gave excellent commentary. Felt completely safe since he so clearly knew all the ins and outs of Athens.

I have gone to St. john on my own and the Celebrity option was much easier. Only Celebrity excursion which seemed like a good value.

However, the island cruise wasdisappointing and would do the "on your own" in tbe future. Easy to get to trunk bay.

Not DV but have very fond memories of our stay last June. We arrived 2 days before departure and stayed one day after. Allowed us to do a lot ( but not everything) without killing ourselves.

We stayed at Marriott and walked almost everywhere.

That is very helpful info! Thanks. We are doing a tour that day but if we had less luggage, we could take more people and use a smaller vehicle.

Would it make sense to drop off people at hotel, go back to port to get bags, and then go to tbe airport? I don't know the respective locations.
