puote=Wyoming2010;57142249]So standard reply without reading the post. Good job.
But the board know-it-all was able to pad the post count. Have to post at least 30 times to validate their existence.

Does your comment answer the question I asked? Was it helpful in any way? Does it at all contribute to the partially humorous aspect of the original post? "No" to all counts.
Have a think about your comments and how they contribute to making Cruise Critic an unfriendly community.
Well said....it's really sad when someone acts like the group know it all and posts over 30 posts per day and just sits waiting to pounce.
Folks like that make this group a lot less fun than it used to be.

Great on the eyes, terrible in the mouth. Glad it's gone.

Nice start...I'll be checking back for the rest

When I saw the title
I thought this thread was about old people in the buffet line.

Take a tour of the Hemingway House and hit up Kermit's for chocolate covered key lime Pie on a stick.
Have fun!

Not so much when you are paying for a suite. You expect an upscale menu for an upscale price.
Food is absolutely subjective,. What you may find upscale someone else will find to be garbage.
Posting 50 times a day doesn't make your opinion more valid.

We loved Gatsby's as well. The Dawn is a very nice ship with great staff.

Please, let's not start another DSC thread.
If you don't like the subject then just scroll by....it's really not that hard.

Is the party worth going to?
Nope - Stopped going a long time ago. I'd rather find a bar on the ship than indulge in those watered down drinks they serve at the party.

President Obama discontinued the wet foot/dry foot policy in January 2017, and Cuban refugees are treated the same as other refugees, they do not get automatic entry into the US if they make it to land.
Wow....never heard a peep out of Nancy Pelosi when this happened. Wonder why?

This discussion has been beaten to death.
But yet you clicked on the thread and chimed in with nothing of value.

Thanks for the review. We loved the Dawn as well. Gatsby's is a great place to have a drink and listen to music.

I have no idea. The last place we want to lounge is by the pool. We like to find a nice quiet place to enjoy a couple cocktails and the sun...…...along with peace and quiet.

I have not seen them on any of the four NCL ships I have sailed on. They have bikes, but they are not recumbent bikes, I would be very surprised if they are there.
Wrong as usual.....they've been on every NCL ship I've sailed on.
-
Sure.
Probably realized most people had The Maniac on their ignore list so had to create a new screen name.

Clothes hanger s??? I brought wire ones, no issue
I didn't say you couldn't bring wire hangers. But the presence of one may be reason for NCL to inspect your suitcase and find your rum runner if one is in there.
-
Wait, WHAT? Clothes hangers are verboten? We plan to take several.
Not verboten but it may give Security a reason to open the suitcase and they may find the rum runners at that point.
-
our last few sails they have called ahead before arriving.
i agree the card is easier....but yeah, it does mean you have to get up when you might not be ready to.
I seem to remember getting a call when they were on their way on cruises prior to our last one. I assumed they discontinued the practice. It sure is helpful getting advance warning.
-
Much easier to use the door hanger and pre-order your coffee. Pick a time slot (7.00-7.30, 7.30-8.00 etc.). I found that it usually arrives close to the earlier time. Coffee pots are small, basically hold two cups each, so order more than one if necessary.
I always tip $2-3 for room service, but that's a personal choice.
Good point about it usually arriving at the earlier time. This has been our experience as well.
Remember to set your alarm so you are awake when they arrive. We forgot once on our last cruise and the knock on the door was our alarm.
-
Are they easy to get on board with NCL?
I'M ASKING FOR SOMEONE, I have the UBP! Don't skool me, or feel free to and I'll pass it on to him!
I haven't had the need to used them since UBP was added as a perk but never had a problem. Like the other poster mentioned put them in a shoe. But also make sure there is nothing else in the suitcase to make NCL open it (e.g., clothes hangers, hair dryers, curling irons, etc..)
Cheers!

Loving this thread! I, too, am on this sailing, and it's also my 1st time on the Dawn and to Bermuda. Very excited!
Sent from my SM-G955U using Forums mobile app
Here is my review from the Feb 18-25 sailing this year. Granted it was not Bermuda but there is a lot of stuff about the Dawn in it.

I'm also a Haven Courtyard cruiser. :)
