KKB: one slight difference. The tournaments at the Aria use the automatic shuffler, so hands probably get dealt out at 3x the speed of a single deck self shuffle setup like on these cruise ships. Am I wrong?

QuadraCatLady: Most cruise ships have no idea how to run a tournament let alone a cash game. And, most have no idea what kind of anti-cheat strategies to employ. Given the lucrative "mass" events like these tournaments, It would not surprise me if there were cheating rings that are counterfeiting or stealing chips in order to use on these tournaments.

This is such an awkward thread for multiple reasons. A lot of fractured thoughts and comments throughout. The original thread was about tipping in the haven, and we honestly have no idea what the salary arrangement is of those working as a butler or what not in the haven. Unless someone has something more concrete, I guess I'll tip them on an usage basis. Those on this thread who are like, oh, i'll tip like $20 bucks everytime someone randomly gives me a towel, or something to that effect, great and good for you if you actually do that and are not flexing -- but speaking as a non-one percenter, that's just a bit extreme for me, personally speaking.
