I would definitely try to find out more! Our regent Alaskan cruise was marred since Toyota had booked the salesmen of the year and families. Over 1/3 of passengers were kids under 10 whose parents nor staff had any control over them. Actually received a rebate from regent because of the many issues. This far out, if available, try the reverse itinerary?

Since we rarely stay at the pre cruise hotels, I am wondering how the rooms are allocated. In general, what type of room does one receive? Does it depend on cabin or society level? Anyone stayed at the Grosvenor House in London, or the Sheraton Stockholm?

But what if you really want a bath? I believe there are grab bars for those of us, me included, who need a helping hand. Just think it is a to each his own decision.

I agree with travelcat about the horizon suite on deck 10. You should decide if you want a bigger cabin...PH or much bigger balcony...Horizon. Or you could splurge on next category...the SS aft with 1&1/2 bath a huge balcony....but again, not on deck 10
