I just called Carnival. I spoke to the first rep who said that because the wench changed the time to 2:30 that I could potentially have to wait to 2:30 instead of 12:30. I found the original boarding pass deep inside my purse when trying to find my ATM card. My paper boarding says 12:30. The rep said to do a print preview to see the time and it said 2:30. She said that she thinks I will be okay sticking to the time that I had checked in but that she wasn't sure. I asked to speak to someone else for a 2nd opinion and got disconnected while waiting so I called back. That rep assured me that when I check in they wouldn't give me a hard time.
2 opinions...2 different answers.
Take the original boarding pass, they only look at the time printed on it. Get to the port, go with original plans and don’t say a word at the terminal. IMHO I don’t for see a problem.

We request a table for two if it’s just my hubby and I. We also request lower level, mid ship, dinning room on most ships it’s directly behind the lobby bar.

OMG yes....my hubby and I always request a table for two OR, if a family cruise, a table for our family. No strangers at our table.

Cruised the Sunshine last December. Parking for the Sunshine was in Garage 5, pretty sure of the number it’s the new garage. It was a TOTAL nightmare...no kiosk to pay when you enter before the cruise sooooo you pay when you leave. It was total gridlock for 20+ minutes for my husband to get from level 2 down to pick me and our luggage up. Yes we did get a porter but we never take their time up to take our luggage to our car, they work hard. It wouldn’t made it any quicker to have existed the garage. We sail the Sunshine again in April and May, hopefully this will be corrected.

Have they changed policy? Before if you repurchased on line or through Carnival rep you couldn’t pay with gift or E cards.

They could have been filming ship from the pier or elsewhere besides ship. Drones are allowed on board for use in port off the ship

Anyways, great video, very smooth (y) (y)
[emoji1303] I wonder if it was a GoPro in the water slide? They made no mention, just curious.

Awesome! I'm surprised they let you use a drone around the ship, did you have any problems with authority? I'm a filmmaker and didn't think this was an option
I know right....I’ve been told it’s not. If I’m not mistaken a drone is listed in things not allowed on the ship, I may be wrong.

Not sure about hotels but hopefully your experience will be better than ours. We sailed out of one terminal and came back to another. It was total craziness. We’ll never cruise out of the Everglades again.

Only problem that could happen, if an emergency occurs that you have to fly back. PASSPORTS are a must.

We have a suite in April on the Sunshine. Who has stayed in 7217? It’s our yearly girl cruise. All comments welcomed. [emoji4]

YES... and my DH and I will share a table for 2 now and forever. It almost came to blows at our table for 10. Two couples, each knowing it all. Enough said.

Those cheaper rates only work on land (you know, where are cell towers). At sea, you would have a huge bill from Cellular At Sea, who is Carnival's satellite provider for cell service.

You are totally correct, I was thinking in port. Brain fart!

We got and email a few weeks ago but I wouldn’t call it an upgrade. Lido inside to Main ocean view. We love the Lido deck no matter the room..

Download to each device....I’m almost certain all ships offer this now.

How do you make sure you're not roaming and getting big charges from your cell company? Sorry I'm a bit ignorant.

Contact your provider, they can tell you. You can also purchase a package thru them that will allow you to text/call at a cheaper rate.

The hub is kinda slow, but it is a way to keep in touch. It is $5 for the entire cruise, but that’s $5 per device. So probably $20 for the entire time is pocket change! Enjoy
