My first cruise was an Alaska cruise and our family took a helicopter flight to a glacier where there were Iditarod teams had they dogs (and puppies!) and did some sledding on the glacier. The flight up was spectacular and the visit with the dogs, puppies and taking a spin on a sled was enjoyable although you were only a passenger. Great memory, was pricey, but my three kids still speak of it when that trip is mentioned.

Have done standard Main Dining Room of prior cruises but elected My Time Dining on upcoming Mariner Bermuda 8 day cruise just to try something different. We have generally enjoyed the interaction with the same servers and presume that experience will not occur with MTD. That said, we will likely be specialty/chef's table dining for 4 of the nights. Opinions and thoughts welcome as to the advantages, disadvantages, likes, dislikes and any other input. Thanks in advance.
