Hmmmm. Do we need to rise up on loungers as we did on cookies, vaping, Decoy wine , etc etc. all decisions they reversed when we ‘protested’ en masse.

The beverage package cost is on a per night basis, so starts the day you embark. There is no charge applied on disembarkation day, but I’m not sure if it can be used that morning.
-
We have the Premier package. Do we have to pay the $14.99 activation fee prior to usage?
-
Can’t wait to follow along. The Queen looks great! Enjoy yourselves.

We have a USD visa from RBC. It is treated as a regular US credit card on board, and anywhere else for that matter.

Here’s the link to the Roll Call for your TA: (The Days Countdown is obviously wrong but this link will get you there)
Yes thanks. I am on it.

Ours is February. I did get the email and the upgrade.

Thanks for the report. We also love the Silly. We were on in February, and will be bringing her back across the ocean in November - our first TA.

Definitely will be posting . That is also one reason I started our Facebook channel -
Right after our Oceania in September we will be doing another interesting itinerary.
October East TransAtlantic on Cunard to Southampton - 5 days at our favorite AirBnB in Lymington (where we rode out Covid) with a road trip to Scotland. We will be completing the journey with a TransAtlantic on Equinox back to Florida.
Have your plans changed Jim or did you mean to say Silhouette back to Florida ?

Don’t want to hijack the OP but we are very interested in beach options. What’s close by and are there rental facilities? (Chairs etc )

I do love the Sunset Bar - but I don't like drinking wine out of plastic glasses so avoid it for my "wine needs". lol

We haven’t sailed Princess in a few years. We have the Premier package. Am I correct in thinking that includes automatic mailing of our medallions to us pre cruise, and some kind of holder ?

where is Craft Social on the ship?
My mistake. Seems there is no Craft Social on Edge The Club also had some higher end options.
-
We have found Craft Social has a wide variety of wines and some not found elsewhere on board.

Keep checking your bookings. Mine didn't have any discount until today - 35% off. Booked with OBC and will continue to hope/watch for the 50% off sale sometime. I don't think about what I'm saving, but rather with the sale the upgrade cost for us is just under $10 pp/pd all in. Well worth it to us.

Why would anyone ever start a thread like this? If you are getting more and bartenders are generous why bring this to light. All bartenders are not the same.
Be happy and if you have a problem with the quantity move on to the next bar.
Don’t destroy the generosity of the Celebrity bar tenders for others. They will be back to measuring with a shot glass.I'll put you in the "this is just plain wrong" category. 🫢

You know I love your live reviews when I wake up in the morning and my first thought is "did Mr. and Mrs Norway make it to FLL last night". HaHa Love to read your reviews. Rest up today.

If AC changed it my experience is that they will allow you to select something that better suits your needs.

We’ve done it in the past. It is doable but you can’t account for delays. That said in November we had an 11 am flight. Did self walk off but ship was delayed getting cleared. Finally left the ship at 830 and were through security at the airport before 915.
-
In November at least. As I said, it may depend on the terminal/your carrier. We use Air Canada and have never been allowed to check in more than 2-3 hours ahead.

we usually take a very late afternoon return flight and spend the entire time at the airport. We leave the ship as late as possible and then go to the airport. Most of the time we can drop the luggage off right away, and then we just chill out. There is a virtual library available at the airport if you didn't bring your own materials. We bring our own - I read, DS usually plays on his Switch, and DH just browses the internet and plays games on his phone.
Operations at FLL may have changed. You should verify you can check in/get through security/drop luggage early. At least for the terminal we use, the max advance time is three hours.

Thanks Port Royal. That's the pictures I had seen. I will monitor over the next couple of weeks before we arrive. I'm not much of a beach person if that's the situation.
AirBnb in FLL pre cruise?
in Florida Departures
Posted · Edited by Josie201
We often stay in an AitBnb pre cruise but I personally wouldn’t bother for just one night. Cleaning and other fees will make it more costly than a hotel. Also depends how many people you are talking about. We like to do 3-4 nights of Florida lifestyle to get us in the cruise spirit.
