I'll be sailing on Freedom Of the Seas next Monday (Dec 11) Do I need to arrange for the scooter pick-up & return before we board?

We've only had an assigned table and meal time on 1 of the 5 cruises we've taken. I was very impressed with the way the waiter knew by the third night exactly what most of us would order. We tend to not really meet anyone else on the ship except for when we get a good trivia team together. So the assigned table forces us to meet a couple of people at least.
