We’ve bought this on our last few cruises. It cannot be used on any games where you win a physical prize or get tickets. It also is not good for bowling. Otherwise it works on general arcade games like shooting, basketball, guitar hero, etc. One of the ships had a pool table and darts and it worked on them.

@Jpepin92I agree and I wish people would. But given I did this a couple of weeks ago I shouldn’t throw stones.
So, on the Oct 8th 4 day out of NY to Bermuda we won the bid on the two bedroom inside suite for $400 each. I had 5 other bids on Havens, some of which for more $ but didn’t win them.

I was just on the Bliss and while they didn’t advertise it, I confirmed at CruiseNext it could be done. I ran into problems at the restaurant trying to do it but they eventually did it.

I know this is probably a ridiculous question, but were there crepes at the buffet every night? We just got off the Bliss and were disappointed these were not available. #firstworldproblems
We are on the Joy in October so my family asked me to check. LOL

We were just there the week of the 20th... the shuttle takes about 30 minutes to go to town. I would say no more crowded then a normal shuttle and they have those big coach buses.
The only watchout for you to be aware of: we had the exact same port times as you, so all aboard time of 12:30...but the last shuttle left to go back at 11. This caught all of us off guard. So everyone was freaking out that you wouldn't be back in time. The bus driver gave us a heads up that they would keep shuttling people back. Our tour ended late and we got back to the pick up time at 11:30 and there was no problem catching the boat back. Our back up plan was to just take a cab.

We were just on the bliss and there were 3500 people there.

I think it would depend on your waiter. We were on the Epic last month and our daughter ordered off the kids menu but tried the odd thing at the table and we were not charged for her. Our son ordered and was charged.

We were just on the Epic in April and at the end of the week my husband had some leftover dinners and I had one...they would not let us use one of his credits on my son and I tried at a number of restaurants.

I was just on the Epic...you can use OBC at Starbucks.
You can also use it to play bingo, deal or no deal, etc.

We were on the Epic at the beginning of April....it had 1300 passengers, 1400 crew. We didn't embark there so can't comment, but disembarkation was fairly smooth. Not sure this changed, but if you are not from the EU there was a customs line to go through. We got off the ship at 745 and there was no line but 30 mins later there was quite the line.

Yes, you actually can get a list of the movies and when they are on on the two channels on the regular TV so you aren't always coming into a movie halfway through.
-
I know this is not the same thing but you can get the list of movies playing and the times from guest services

We were not required to wear them on the ship and off the boat you sometimes needed to wear them in the terminal and in cabs but other than that fairly mask free
-
On the policy page it shows you are allowed to do this, but I agree you get different answers when you call.
-
I was just on the Epic in Spain and we were not required to wear masks.

We just spent 15 days on the Epic in April...loved it!

The other thing I would add is folks keep saying they are only good for games in the arcade but there are some in O'Sheehans (darts, pool, etc) that can be used as well. Not all of them, but most. There was even a VR machine that was $9/game that you could use the pass for

I called and was told that it can only be used in the arcade. I guess we will find out how it works when we get onboard.
We were planning to buy Arcade Packages for this kids and I asked if the credit could be applied to the cost of the package. It also can't be used that way.
I guess we'll see how long the credit lasts and then purchase a package (if we want it) for the rest of the trip.
I'll try to check in next week and let ya'll know how it's actually working.
The unlimited package was so worth it (just came off the Epic April 2-17 sailing). They did apply it to the package for me.

I'm hoping they don't have the manpower/inclination to track it that way. In the past, if I have bought onboard credit, it has been a general credit and anything could be (and was) automatically applied to it. For example, when I have pre-paid gratuities, that pre-paid amount appeared on my bill as a negative and then deducted from the overrall total (does that make sense? I feel as if I'm not explaining it well). What I'm hoping for is that the $100 is applied as a credit of $100 and just gets deducted from the final amount. I guess we will find out soon enough....
I was just on the Epic with a 12 year old and received the credit...it is specific to the Arcade. We bought the arcade package and they applied it to the package but I did have to follow up.

I think it would depend on your sailing. We were just on the Epic and there were may 4-8 people up there but there were only 1300 on our sailing

@Jim The LizardWe figured out in our roll call that recently NCL dropped the number of free dinners that you got on the cruise. As an example, we got 3 for a 15 day cruise, I think you used to get 5. It appears that if you were one of the people that got less dinners got offered this deal
-
Hello! That technically is true, if they eat off of that menu. But in the specialty restaurants there is a standard kids menu that if they eat off of (think pizza, nuggets PB&J) it is free. I also found that in Teppanyaki they didn't charge my kids because they only ate the rice

Hi @Starflyr3Thanks for the review...we are on the Epic on the 2nd with kids as well...two QQ:
1. When you said you would stick with breakaway, etc with the kids is that because of the lack of extra activities on the boat?
2. You said you upgraded the wifi...did you upgrade to the streaming or regular internet?
Thanks so much!!

We are going from Rotterdam to Amsterdam just for a day tour and want to take the train. Do we have to pre-book tickets or can we just buy them at the gate.
