Just have everyone walk up as a group and just have the ones in front have their passes out, won't be an issue. My in-laws are slackers and never check in when I tell them to and usually have another time and always have boarded with us.

I can see good and bad. I will like that if I am out after midnight I don't have to make sure I use my vouchers by then and have to cut into my next day's drinks. I get freebies in the casino so this will actually be good for me. But the bad is on the last night I could use the 4 from the last night then my 4 from the debarkation day as I don't get anything in the morning before I leave.

Just wondering if anyone knows when the offer becomes available? Can you book it earlier than the March to April rollover? Thanks!
Have you tried going here to check for offers? You can't book anything until it shows up here unless you're onboard the ship and they offer you something based on your points.

We have a cruise booked for Feb. 26th. I am considering bidding for an upgraded cabin. How soon does the bid process open before the cruise departs?
We're on the Harmony Feb 26th and our bidding opened up a couple weeks ago. I've yet to figure out how they determine when to open it up as it's been different on every cruise.

what are the table minimums usually for blackjack? I remember they used to have "happy hour" specials where they would offer $3 minimum hands. Curious if they are still doing this. Also do they us a shoe or continuous shuffle machines? I'm not a card counter but was wondering as it seems many casinos are going away from shoe games
$10 minimum and they do $5 hands on sea days in the mornings like at 10 or 11 am. They still use shoes.

My brother is a first timer and did not check in for his cruise on the Wonder tomorrow and now it says check in has been cutoff. Any idea of what time he should get there and will there be an issue for not checking in??

Heck, I'm fine with room service coffee and get espresso at the diamond lounge. I was actually considering getting the coffee card for our cruise in Feb, but after reading this thread I will pass. Between the diamond drinks and free drinks in the casino, specialty coffee was about all we were lacking as we don't want to waste diamond vouchers on them

Anyone ever stay here? It's got a great price and we just want somewhere clean to sleep, nothing more.

I just do it the old fashioned way and bring rum runners. Not because I'm cheap as I get free drinks in the casino + 4 free diamond, but because I like to have a drink in my cabin/balcony without having to walk all the way to a bar and back. I get oj delivered each morning with my coffee to use as a mixer.

My personal opinion is they should just do away with the lobster nights. I HATE fish and the smell of it. Lobster nights smell terrible! Then there wouldn't be any complaining about getting a second or third one...

I'm thinking the op was wanting some sort of refund for which there's no reason for. Needed to be settled on the ship by enforcing the rules or allowing a change of cabins. The marijuana nowadays smells like skunk and I can't stand it. Now the weed of my time is a different story...😎

Something is wrong. I've booked many and NEVER pay taxes or gratuities on excursions. Since they started their Black Friday sale I've heard many having screwy issues with pricing

You can do it at a slot machine. You will have to setup an account on the machine with a pin number which takes a couple minutes, ask for help if needed. Then just do a room charge for $35 and once it's loaded on the machine, cash out and take the slip to the cashier.

Most of the time I get them the very day I disembark.

I always tip in cash, $1 drink outside the casino and $2 inside because that keeps the servers coming back to me and it's rare for my hand to be empty (except the hand holding the gambling money!). My last cruise I had to go to guest services twice to have drinks removed because at dinner I was being charged for others at my table. So, I'm all for making them document who's being charged and saving me that wait at GS.

I take mostly $100 bills and break them in the casino for port money. They have machines where you can cash your vouchers and break large bills into smaller ones. First you put in a $100 bill and it will give you 5-$20's, then you break each $20 into $10's then those into $5's. I don't think it goes to $1 bills.

I'm lost. What benefit is there to using gift cards? All I can see is they ensure the person you give them to has to spend the money with Royal. Am I missing something?
Gift cards have always been great gifts, especially brand and/or store specific cards. Gives them more meaning than just generic visa cards so I can definitely see asking for these for Christmas or birthdays, just wish Royal had a better system in place.

THANK YOU! I am not privileged enough to be a regular. I appreciate your patience and help.
I DID use the Search tool but I suppose I made my search term too specific. I did not have time to go through ALL Labadee...and I did check the RCCL's list of forum topics...starting on page one and it was all about specific cruises that were not helpful to me. I already read a bunch of blogposts but figured I'd reach out to the CC community. Now I will be more careful about asking what might sound like an ignorant question to those who have cruised lots. You have to excuse the jerks on here. The "other place" has become SO much better because of the lack of no-lifers who have nothing better than to criticize others. They assume that you also have no life and live on here....

I remember a 70's night, white night and Caribbean nights earlier this month on Oasis.

You "should" be able find the package on sale for $73. Drinks for the most part are $14 each. So at $73 it takes about 5 drinks to break even. Add the 4 free diamond drinks to that and now it takes 9 drinks to break even. That's 9 drinks every single day, even when in port and days that you may have a hangover. This does not include the free waters, soda's juices, etc, and of course these prices have 18% added to them.

The past 3 cruises I haven't seen more than 1 or 2 people in the lounges. I go in there to get a free espresso and leave.
-
Last week on the Oasis they had plenty of good seats available for those who didn't book in advance. So even if you want to go to a show with no advanced booking, just show up.
-
I thought the free play was use or lose it. I also seem to recall once I redeemed it on a machine that I had to play through it on that same machine and could not cash it out.

Glad to hear that as I now can anticipate going past SOL on my Oasis 10/16 cruise. I do hope I am not held to blame if Oasis does not go past SOL that day, breaking someone's streak.
We did it on the Anthem in 2018 so hopefully we do it on the Oasis Oct 9th! I don't know if being such a huge ship makes a difference with the maneuver or not...
