  1. Being snarky is not becoming. You don’t know that the final payment deadline will not change. Like many others, I have decided to wait and see. If the final payment for my cruise does not change from 120 days to 60 days by the end of October, I will cancel. I do not want a FCC and I am not playing the submit a request between this date and that date game. It is my hope that we will have a better idea of what the future of cruising will look like in the coming months and I will make a decision that best fits my needs when I see fit.
  2. For all 2021 cruises through October 31, cancel up to 15 days prior and receive a Future Cruise Credit, or a full refund when you cancel up to 120 days before your vacation.
  3. I am booked on the Encore, 3/1/21. If the final payment does not change for my cruise, I will save myself the aggravation and cancel the end of October.
  4. It baffles me that they did not apply the 60 day final payment change to cruises scheduled to depart through 2021. I’d even accept through June 2021. Just to offer it to 2020 sailings is ridiculous!
  5. Same here for my 12 night Panama Canal departing 3/1/21.
  6. We’re booked for the 12 night Panama Canal on Encore 3/1/21. We only paid the deposit and do not plan to make another payment until the final payment date. Hopefully, things will be better then and cruises are actually sailing. We’re really looking forward to this cruise; it’s supposed to be my husband’s retirement cruise. Fingers crossed 🤞🏽
  7. The answer to your question is yes, you’re owed the gratuity on the dining and beverage packages. I returned 2/15 from my Escape sailing for which my sister was a no show. I was told that I would receive a refund of the taxes, prepaid gratuities, dining package gratuity, and beverage package gratuity. So far, I have received nothing and I am unable to speak with anyone in accounting to follow up as to when I may expect my refund since it wasn’t received the middle of this week as I was told. I understand that they’re processing a huge number of refunds and cancellations due to the current crisis but my refund should have already been processed. Sorry for my rant but I needed to vent 😁
  8. Glow Party description from current Encore sailing’s Freestyle Daily - Day 5: GLOW PARTY Take part in Norwegian Cruise Line’s most illuminating party at sea. This is an amped up version of our former White Hot Party, so wear neon or white as we fill the night with a glowing vividness that can only come from a good time. (weather permitting) Time: 10:30p, Pool Deck, Deck 16, Mid
  9. Good morning @BirdTravels. Thank you for sharing your Encore vacation with us. I would like to ask about Galaxy Pavillon prices. On the TA, there were $20, $40, & $60 cards for purchase, are these cards still sold? Just wondering what to expect for our 12/15 sailing. Thank you and enjoy the rest of your vacation! Angie
  10. Yes. I depart 2/8/20, received my flight confirmation on 11/14.
  11. Air booked 86 days out. Outbound DTW>JFK>MIA; return MIA>DTW. Home Departure City - DTW - Detroit Metro Arrival/Destination City - MIA - Miami International Airline -Delta Outbound Flight departure/arrival time - 8:05/2:41 Number of Connections - 1 Return Flight departure/arrival time - 12:11/3:10 Number of Connections - 0 We opted to arrive in Miami a day early. Our outgoing flight is not the best considering direct flights are available, but it could have been worse 🤷🏽‍♀️
  12. Thanks for the info. Hoping that’s the case for our 12/15 cruise.
  13. From NCL’s FB Hurricane Dorian Update, 8/31: Norwegian Breakaway – August 25, 2019 Sailing Due to Hurricane Dorian in the Caribbean, the United States Coast Guard are taking all necessary precautions to prepare for the storm and have made the final decision to close PortMiami this evening, August 31, 2019. As such, Norwegian Breakaway’s scheduled return on September 1 has been postponed. We are working closely with government and local port authorities to confirm the ship’s anticipated return of September 4. Norwegian Breakaway – September 1, 2019 Sailing Due to Hurricane Dorian in the Caribbean, the United States Coast Guard are taking all necessary precautions to prepare for the storm and have made the final decision to close PortMiami this evening, August 31, 2019. As such, Norwegian Breakaway’s seven-day Western Caribbean cruise will be modified. She will no longer call to Roatan, Honduras; Harvest Caye, Belize; nor Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico. Instead, she will sail a modified four-day itinerary, which will include a sail date of Wednesday, September 4, pending approval by government and local port authorities. If confirmed, she will spend a day at sea on September 5, call to Cozumel, Mexico on September 6 and remain at sea on September 7 before returning to Miami, Florida on September 8, as planned. We are in constant communication with the United States Coast Guard, as we continue to monitor the storm and will provide an update by Sunday, September 1 at 8 p.m. or earlier.
