Last time I sailed her the smoking areas were port side pool deck and deck 4 between the elevators.

As a frequent RCI cruiser I've only had one bad MDR table and that was only a 4 night cruise. We are such good friends with a couple we met at a table in 2008 that we spent a week together renting a house in Denver in 2017.
I'm OK with Freestyle but sometimes forcing people together can be great.

Sailing Jan 30, no letter. But this was a L&S and was paid up a long time ago.

They might be thinking of EU or ANZ requirements in the future.

If Captain Marek is aboard he runs the best ship regardless of class.

We had a tablemate who asked for what is essentially a wedge salad. By the end of the cruise the entire table was ordering them.

Once years ago I received a GTY balcony under Windjammer and just called to change staterooms. Never mentioned GTY status.

Always wondered why it was called a 'top tier' event when Platinum and up could attend?? Platinum is more low tier end being the 2nd level of a possible six.
I guess it really is 'top tier' now although, as was pointed out earlier, with double points, Diamond is nothing anymore.
Pedanticly, if Gold is the bottom tier then all tiers above it are on top.
As of now, at least Diamond tier isn't required to row the boat, unlike those lower tier folks.

We are booked on B2B Panama Canal cruises on the Zuiderdam in January 2023. I just received an email from HAL about one of them stating that we are being moved to the Zaandam, and I’m sure I’ll be getting an email about the second one.
We had a really nice Signature Suite booked, the same on both cruises. I’m not terribly familiar with the Zaandam (just that she’s older and smaller), and until I do more research, I don’t know whether I want to spend that much time on the Zaandam. Any thoughts and advice appreciated. Thanks!
We'll accept the transfer to Zaandam for our Jan 2023 Panama Canal trip but I'm not real happy since I'll have to coordinate two other cabin assignments whenever HAL decides to reassign.
I can't give any advice regarding the ship change but hope you get a suitable suite Turtles06.

The whole ship will be Diamond by this time next year😉
Another typo. You meant Diamond Plus. 😉

I'm wondering if they will blame a typo on excluding Diamonds from the top tier event or if they plan to hold those events in a conference room.
And yes I'm sure they will want to be able to spread out the attendees.

This is the first time I have seen a ship with an ice rink and promenade described as "little". I think you'll be pleased with the Explorer.

I'll follow along provided there will be no Vogon poetry.

The ship's store will need to lay in more sunblock.

At least they won't be hard selling the "winners" a time share in Coco Cay.

It seems to me that every ship will have rapid testing available for the foreseeable future.
The question will be how much they charge for them. I'll be S2S in January and I doubt NCL med center will give me a free test so I can board an RCI ship on disembarking day.
We don't even know if that will be required next month much less next year so I'm not going to worry about it.
-
I'll tell you how excited I am. I started reading the boards again and am still 6 months away from my first sailing since the last decade.

When I signed my wife and me up for C&A we had consecutive numbers. Which is how I figured out that a few years later they assigned her a new number. I called and they just said "You don't want the points on the original number".
Royal IT marches to the beat of a different drummer.

LoL on "Keep it clean please ".
Aboard ship really limits your options. I would order room service breakfast to start, schedule a couples massage for mid day, and whichever specialty restaurant you both enjoy for dinner.
If you are drinkers, I would buy a bottle or two for after dinner, maybe get chocolate covered strawberries or other dessert, and spend the rest of the evening in our cabin.

St Kitts has the only railroad in the Caribbean, a great Fort with awesome views, good beaches, an island next door to visit (Nevis), The Amazing Grace Experience, a volcano to climb, and lots more.

8 nights aboard is always better than 7 nights aboard.
Plus we love St Kitts so for us it's no contest.

Must have been on those fancy ships I never sailed on back in the twenty-teens.

My understanding is that JS can get a reservation in CK for dinner only, but only if they aren't fully booked.

The zip line was fantastic. And you get to see one of Oprah's many Caribbean homes.
