Thank you for your very thorough answer! I have already a tux suit and shirt, a bow tie (and shoes) but they stayed at home... Buying a new tux at M&S seems like the best option but then I don't need 2 tux... Maybe I'll go with rental if it's still available.

Are you sure you're looking at the US Cunard website and not the UK one?

Hello all, When I went to Europe, I thought I would fly back to the US so I did not bring my tuxedo, shirt and shoes with me. But then I booked a ticket on QM2 to travel to NYC. I know it's possible to rent clothing on board. Does anybody know how much it would cost to rent a tuxedo suit, shirt and shoes for the crossing? Thank you!

Hello, I will be travelling from Southampton to New York and embarking on July 29. Would you be kind enough to confirm what I think is the current status for covid testing pre-embarkation in Southampton en pre-desembarkation in NYC? (I have american citizenship if it matters). - A negative rapid antigen test is mandatory within two days of embarkation in Southampton but no certificate is required anymore (over-the-counter self antigen tests are fine). Also, are the NHS self-testing rapid antigen tests fine for this? - No pre-desembarkation covid test is required before desembarkation in New York (no covid certificate will be asked my US immigration in New York?) I actually called Cunard about it and they said there was a problem with the system and I should just ignore this date and go on with online check-in. So the departure date is still July 29!

Hello, I have a booked ticket for a Westbound crossing Southampton to NYC leaving on 29 July 2022. I went online to check-in and on the online check-in summary page, it says that the Departure Date is 28 July 2022!!! Yes, it is written 28 July and not 29 July! Am I missing something here? Has the departure changed without being informed? Do you have the same issue? Thank you all

Hello, I have booked a westbound transatlantic cruise for July 2022, Southampton to New York on QM2. I am a little bit confused by what I need to do to prepare for it. In particular, I would like to ask fellow travelers about the online check-in. Is it mandatory? Does it replace the previous face to face check-in at Southampton where a Cunard employee used to ask for your passport, credit card, booking number and took a photo of you? Also, on the Cunard website, it says you need a Passport-style photo for each guest for online-check-in. How do you upload this photo online? Do you need a scanner to scan your passport photo or can you take a picture with your phone and upload it? I traveled on QM2 before and I don't remember there was an online check-in. Just showed up at the terminal and then checked in at the desk upon number being called. Has it been replaced by the online check-in? Thank you all,
