we get a spinning circle in top left hand corner of browser - chrome and brave. takes 1 minutes before email or web page shows up. takes  1 minute to open each email.

some background. Princess has put high speed internet on all new ships and retrofitted older ships. Princess continually send emails extolling high speed internet. we had it on sky. we just want what was promised.

update. we are still in Europe and internet is like dial up. ship refuses to fix it. it was blazing fast on sky princess aug 19 for 2 weeks. that is the reason for our complaint. otherwise, the ship and cruise has been awesome.

we are on Regal for 25 days Southampton to Fort Lauderdale. sailed Sept 29. internet speed is like dial up - only 3 mbs.  ship will not fix it even though we bought all these plus packages.  we we were on sky in August and internet was fast = like at home. 

we bought plus in aug 22 - $30. what a great deal. not worth $60 unless you drink a lot

the plus package worked perfectly if you stay within items covered. you can get unlimited san peligrino water small bottle but big bottle costs $4

we have plus on sky aug 19 to sept 2. we got premium - $12 big sundaes free - no scoops of gelato

we did not use room service on sky aug 19 to sept 2. they did not charge the $15 fee, we had old plus pak

our old plus included 2 fancy deserts PER DAY at Gelato on sky aug 19 to sept 2

we lost 2 free casual dining - pizza at alfredos & others places that used to be free

princess now charges $15 for these

we did not do room service so we were never charged the $15 one time set up fee

we are on Sky - boarded Aug 19, 2023. we bought cruise and  plus package August 2022. there have been many changes to the plus package and cruising. casual dining has been added where you $15 for Alfredos pizza. plus package includes 2 casual dining visits. BUT, NOT THE OLD PLUS PACKAGES. we were told we would have to pay for Alfredos. why dont they grandfather the benefits? instead, Princess want you to pay the difference between $ 60 per day and what you paid

thank you so much for your fantastic awesome detailed review. we are doing 25 day transatlantic Sept 29 which includes all of your ports. the patters and info were invaluable. 

we are each bringing just 2 carry on suitcases - 20 or 21 inch - can we carry these onto the ship instead of checking them?  also, at end of cruise can we carry them off ourselves? we are going on Sky and Regal in Southampton. thanks

we bought plastic french press and brought ground coffee and made our own. then we bought coffee cards where you get free brewed coffee and cappuccino. now with plus package included in fares we get free brewed coffee or special ones.

we have always used Princess shuttle. always made our flight. worth it. 

the fireworks may have been from a Mexican wedding. that is the practice. we own a beach condo in Mazatlan. there are fireworks often on friday and sat evening

for anybody who has cruised and had the Premier Beverage Package - we have a few questions regarding bottled water

1. how do you get the bottled water?

2. do they deliver it to your cabin?

3. how do you request it?

we cancelled our 97 day world cruise Jan 2022 LA to FTL (starts Jan in FTL) for 2 reasons

1. we will only sail if 100% vaccinated

2. we are not certain of the ports the cruise will visit with so many closed like Australia

we have a lot of land trips we want to do but would like to get back to cruising. we hope all cruise lines will insist on 100 % vaccinated with only exception being if vaccine is not available due to age (like children under 2). no medical, religious or political exceptions should be allowed.

or, maybe they can have unvaccinated voyages and 100% vaccinated voyages both. this will make everyone happy. 

we will only cruise if vaccination is 100% - NO exceptions. if you are an exemption, just stay home or do some other activity. 

awesome. all cruises should be vaccinated pax & crew

KIWIMUM - thank you so much for posting Princess Mar 4 covid notice. this is a game changer for us. we are booked on 97 world cruise Jan 2022. if these rules apply then, the cruise would not be worthwhile and not enjoyable for us. we do our own shore ex. we just paid our second deposit but will probably cancel. we may hang in until August.  again, thank you.

Princess web site lists all Alaska cruises from Seattle as NOT AVAILABLE. you cant book one. call Princess or have your TA call Princess. how can someone pay final payment if the cruise is not for sale.

RCL is doing cruises with PAX and crew vaccinated. this could be a game changer
