  1. I have no experience with this, but I do remember reading that some of the best prices of the year for cruise planner items is during Black Friday. Would love to hear, what they have done in the past. Does this start prior, do they just do Friday and or Cyber Monday?
  2. Correct. Number of days must match and region. The ship or even ship class do not need to match. You can't go from Med to Caribbean. I went from Symphony 7 Night Western to Symphony 7 Night Eastern Caribbean.
  3. I started another thread here today and everyone seems to think most including RCI will be fine. Time will tell.
  4. I was also paid in full and now I have like $3k in Cruise planner cancellations I won't get refunds on for like 3 months.
  5. But that's now what you said. Plenty of people are holding tickets. Disney stopped selling tickets. I have a ticket but was staying offsite from a trip in April, that I rescheduled to July. That is thousands and thousands and thousand of people. If you are going to be throwing information out there, at least make sure it's accurate. And you still haven't backed up no lines. There will be lines.
  6. Just because you believe it doesn't make it true. Put in references like I did. I never read no lines or all virtual lines. You are also dead wrong about only Annual Passes and those staying on Disney Property. So I can't believe you. https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/experience-updates/park-reservations/?CMP=ILC-DPFY20Q3wo0618200010A&fbclid=IwAR26AjQhgcfeB_f56_Kdum2hIea76dYvUEmyeqlxFkbIrabD9ioo5VYfaMQ
  7. Disney, like everyone else is checking boxes. Do we have hand washing stations? Check. Do we have touchless payment? Check. But you still need to touch the keypad to enter your PIN. Do we have distance markers on the ground? Check. I am overjoyed that they finally are getting rid of the guards digging through your bags doing hand checks. What are they going to do about the bio-metrics to enter the park? Are you still going to be required to touch the pole of germs? But this won't stop people from being close to you. What about the switchbacks? You might be 6 feet behind t
  8. Disney could have opened sooner as did Seaworld and Universal. They are just a larger beast. They got the green light to open back on 6/7. So the slow roll is all with them. But they were approved almost two weeks ago.
  9. So you kind of see my question now. You agree theme parks shouldn't be open. So back to my original question. Why are cruise lines taking it on the chin? I think having the entire NBA jammed into 3 Disney hotels is also going to backfire. And the Phillies just suffered an outbreak. https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/phillies-facility-suffers-coronavirus-outbreak-eight-positive-tests-among-players-and-personnel/
  10. https://nypost.com/2020/06/18/carnival-loses-4-4-billion-as-coronavirus-sinks-cruise-industry/
  11. Is Disney World or Universal essential? Are movie theaters essential? They are all opening up. Disney will have way more people than a cruise.
  12. So 3,800 new positives for Florida alone today. So if you are on a plane with one of those positives for a 4 hour flight, you will be ok?
  13. I wonder why the cruise industry is taking this on the chin. People are flying and everything on land is opening up.
