If you do the cave tubing, as mentioned above there will be a ton of other cruisers there no matter who you book with. The ride is safe and pretty neat nothing dangerous but there was quite a bit of walking.
If it is not too late to change I highly recommend Little French Key in Honduras, worth the money and I would even say worth going over your budget.

I have been denied request while on board due to no room. But that's only day before or same day. I usually get on board and look at the menu for the week then make my reservations on day 1. My next cruise I have already booked two nights in the steakhouse, it is better to have them just in case I think. You can always change.
-
I often order two main dishes and it is an extra $20.

Roatan is my favorite port by far! But Belize is not high up the list. My wife claims the Cayman's have the nicest water in the Caribbean and it is hard to argue, but Roatan is still my favorite.

Carnival charges a fee to take out cash at the tables, I think it is 7%. I do remember a fee for the slots. The OBC should be available to use anywhere since it will be on your account once you board.

Yes the change to the booking steps is terrible

I'm not certain I understand your term "innovation" - to me the Cloud 9 spa is an example of Carnival's "innovation" -- a relaxation area, for adults only, with only a handful of passes available (no crowding) along with their spa cabins - different, more zen-like decor - their Punchliner comedy club is pretty innovative too.
Or are you talking about things like rock climbing, ice skating, etc.? Those types of things Carnival definitely hasn't caught up to, however for us 60 year olds, they hold little appeal for us.
In my opinion a spa is not innovative. I do the spa rooms as well, only those. But I believe other lines have something similar to if not identical to the T pools and the heater lounges. All lines offer some sort of spa and spa like amenities.
I am talking about the iFly, more specialty dining, walking the plank, surf simulator, better "broadway" shows and that ball Royal has that lifts high above the ship. But yes like the rock wall etc.

People mention breakfast, but for any meal I enjoy grabbing food from the Lido and taking it back to the balcony as well. I have fallen asleep on the balcony several times, sometimes if the wind is right you can hear the Lido deck music from the balcony, so you get a bit of entertainment without the crowd.

Yes they may be cheaper when comparing to other lines, but compare the innovation with other lines as well? Carnival is lacking in this department. I do think Carnival's prices are getting higher, mostly for the newer ships but their pinching on offerings they provide and taking away things here and there like the 2 night lobster they used to have.
I love Carnival and have only sailed Carnival. I do want to do other lines but it has been other things that prevent that outside of cost. Port offerings and timing mainly. Such as wanted 8 day cruises instead of 7 to certain ports.

How can these be used onboard? I know they cant be done in the funshops since that is contracted.
Can I just use them on my S&S? Gamble, drinks, specialty dining?
-
Two nights of lobster.
Also, I have recently only seen lobster bisque in the steak house and not MDR. But I could be wrong there.

Find the other sailing dates for the same cruise and join their roll calls here asking if someone will bring them back or take pictures of them. There are also other website that create groups for particular sailings you could search for. You could also find groups that have already cruised on the same itinerary and ask them as well. Good luck, I like to find the fun times prior to sailing as well.

With FTTF you can get there as soon as they open the doors and allow people to begin checking in. However, your boarding time will be right after (sometimes in parallel) with those in suites as well as diamond/platinum guest who all board first.

My PVP has never given me incentives well enough to book through him, it has been no different than what Carnival offers. I have been using a TA for out last few cruises and this next upcoming cruise she got us $275 OBC.

I can see me liking it, I can see my wife saying 'lets go eat'

This may have already been answered but I haven't seen it and I'm not finding detailed info on Carnivals site, can some one tell me what services/use of spa are included if a spa cabin is booked?

Different bathroom amenities in your room
Different decor in the room
Slippers in your room, spa robe
Unlimited access to the thermal suites in the spa
Unlimited access to the t-pool in the spa
Spa showers and locker room
One salt shower scrub
To me the value is the t-pool, kind of an adult retreat away from the lido hustle and bustle. And the heated lounge chairs are amazing I love napping on them.
Also as mentioned the rooms are normally away from traffic.

Taking a nap in the heated chairs becomes a near daily routine in the spa. My wife and I love the spa rooms. As mentioned it is quiet and having the tpool can be priceless when it's slow in the spa.

These menus are being posted on a separate thread entitled "Sunshine 8 day menus on the 2/24 sailing" by flagmom. Same itinerary as the one being discussed here. My understanding is even though it is a different ship, if it is the same itinerary and same number of days then the menu is the same. So far she has posted through day 6. They are very clear and easy to read and no issues seeing them (they are copied into the posting, not a link.)
Thanks, found it and subscribed. Now I just need the fun times

I am not able to see them when I hit the link...am I doing something wrong?
It doesn't open for me either, tried on my iPad, my PC with ie and chrome and the app on my iPhone, nothing.

My old TA offered me an up sell once. From a balcony to a spa balcony, can't remember how much but it was pretty cheap from what I do recall. My new TA gives great OBC so I just book the room I want and take the credit.

Dining Questions
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
When you log in to manage your cruise you should see several options, one of which will help you reserve spots for specialty dining through email.
To join tables I do believe what was mentioned, show up at the same time since you are in your time. But you can also call carnival I think they can combine the two rooms for dining but may switch you to a specific dining time (early or late) instead of your time.
