Bermuda - No one ever asked to see our $40 authorization Forms. Really. Certainly a money grab for Bermuda. Walked to Snorkel Park. Convenient and it provided us a beach, calm waters and walkable to/from ship. We enjoyed snorkeling along the fort wall and rocks.

How is Snorkel Park Beach? I’m going to Bermuda next month and have heard conflicting opinions. And is there a cost? Thank you!

I am not receiving many responses to this thread. Either everyone agrees with what I am writing (which has happened never number of times on CC), or I am just boring y'all to tears making it hard to write a response.

I’m thoroughly enjoying this thread - so much so that I’m also reading your old ones! Thank you 🙂

  3. I'm on the same cruise, and I'm disappointed that it looks like we won't be seeing Hairspray, but I don't expect a refund or credit.  Plenty of people wouldn't see Hairspray even if it was offered.  Do they get credits or refunds too?  What about anything else? What If the FlowRider was closed all week? What if it was only closed one day? What about a bar (that you may have no interest in going to?) What about the rock wall?  Where would Royal draw the line?

  4. I have 2 connecting staterooms on an upcoming Symphony cruise for me, wife, and 2 kids. We're interested in getting a photo package but it says "One photo package covers all guests in your stateroom."  Can we combine photos from the two rooms in one package? (i.e., if we pre-buy 10, can we choose 5 from one room and 5 from the other?).

Also, this is our first time on Oasis class - does Symphony do the photos the way Anthem does (all at a kiosk/digital that we can view with our SeaPass card) or do they print out al the photos?

    Thanks!

  5. I found an old review of Symphony of the Seas that said that Boardwalk and Central Park Balconies get a "Eat-Play-Drink" package included. Is this still offered?

    Specifically, what I found said:

Passengers booked in Boardwalk Balcony cabins receive as bonus perks (complimentary amenities) the "EAT-DRINK-PLAY" exclusive package, which includes:

1 free meal (for 4 pax) at "Johnny Rockets"

1 free "Royal Refreshment" drink package (for 2 pax)

1 "Rock Climbing Wall" exclusive session (for the whole family)

Passengers booked in Central Park Balcony cabins receive as bonus perks (complimentary amenities( the "EAT-DRINK-PLAY" exclusive package, that includes:

1 free lunch (for 2 pax) at "Giovanni's Table", "Jamie's Italian", "Sabor Modern Mexican", or "Johnny Rockets"

1 free bottle of wine (red) in the stateroom

private onboard casino gaming lessons (led by an expert)

  6. We were on a cruise in December that stopped at both.  If you want the better beach, its Grand Turk, no question. Its *right* off the pier and is a great beach. The water wasn't very blue or clear but the sand was smooth and the water was so easy to walk in/out and around in. Chairs were plentiful.  There's also a neat NASA exhibit, a pool, and some stores right there.

Amber Cove is sort of an artificially created/private area.  We walked around a little but did a shore excursion of horseback riding along the beach (which was a lot of fun). I didn't actually see the pool there so can't comment on it, but I've heard that any beach requires a shore excursion or private transportation.

  7. I was on Sunshine last week and there was a game where the Fun Squad host would name a category (properties on a monopoly board, colors in a 24-count box of Crayon crayons, etc.) and players had to name things in the category - but the most common answer was the "pig sty" and didn't count.

What is this game called? I can't remember for the life of me.  Thank you!

  8. I had the same issue - we had connecting interior rooms on Horizon, and were switched to oceanview rooms on Liberty that were several doors down from each other.  I called and said "thanks for the upgrade, but we'd rather have the connecting rooms" and they were able to switch us. Although I had gone online first and found some connecting rooms showing up as available, and was able to request specific room numbers from them.
