  1. We did it once on Liberty of 2/28/16 sailing. We thought it wasn't good at all so never did it again. We enjoyed the MDR for breakfast every day after. If you want order a Mimosa from a bar and take with you to MDR breakfast, it would be cheaper. By the way we were not suite guests, everyone was allowed if they paid the 15.00. We were quite disappointed.

  2. We also were on that cruise. Embarkation went well, ALL crew members we dealt with were just wonderful. We had requested by email mattress toppers and they were on when we got to cabin, they were not egg crates they were memory foam, the beds were great.

MDR for breakfast was great. Windjammer for lunch was just ho hum. Both nights in Chops were great as well as Giovanni's. Waited until onboard to book 3 night package with first night at Chops and special was 70.00 pp. Beef tenderloin on first formal night was the best I have ever had on any ship.

Only got off ship in Cozumel so can't speak for tenders in Belize.

Disembarkation was a horror, supposed to be off ship at 8:45 and we didn't get off until 10:30. The self assists were pretty upset and waited in line at least hour and a half. They repeatedly announced that delay was due to not enough Customs agents. I counted a total of 6 when we were in line after getting luggage. Getting a porter is the way to go, they cut down a lot of the line waiting.

Despite the bad finish we are looking forward to same cruise/same ship January 2017.

  3. I hate to be a Negative Nellie but what would happen if you were on shore and something happened to you, be it vehicle breakdown, injury, etc. What would happen to your kids if you didn't make it back in time? Will a crew member take care of them until you are reunited at next port. I remember on Disney Cruise, parents lost track of time and ship started out with parents screaming that their children were onboard and they put parents on a tug and took them to ship.

  4. Moopet Guy. I sent an email to RCCL and got answer back the next day. They told me there would be toppers on our beds on embarkation day. We had mattresses on Navigator that were so hard my hips actually hurt which I mentioned in my email to them. Hard beds do not bother my roommate so if she doesn't want one after all I will have steward put an additional one on my bed. It surprises me that RCCL does not care about how their mattresses are. Hotels and other cruise lines make a point of playing up their wonderful beds.

  5. I've tried searching but coming up empty. Were any other ships caught in the same mess as Anthem. Hard to believe that a lot of ships sailing in the area did not experience the same, but I can't find any others. Did other ships change their routes to avoid, Does anyone know? I would think that others adjusted route and only Anthem took a chance.
