Please book that tour direct, not thru Viator. Booking thru third parties only adds problems if there are weather or other issues.
We have used Viator for years from Hawaii,. Caribbean on land and shore excursions without issues. They are also owned by TripAdvisor which makes them even more legit. We usually look at the tour website to compare.

i have a flight leaving at 11:50am out of FLL on saturday March 28 and our ship the Escape arrives in Port of Miami. Reading most of the posts here on the boards say this should be a doable flight, but there have been some comments that NCL'S disembarkation procedures are a nightmare and we could be delayed getting off this ship. My question out there is has anyone been on the Escape and what was your disembarkation comments?
thanks
The disembarkation process is rarely ships fault as most of them get into dock early morning 3/4 am. Its the customs guys that hold things up.

Only thing worse than a chair hog is the chair hog police. Sure it can be very inconsiderate but somebody moving somebody else’s books and towels and such is looking for much more trouble. If it’s a problem then report it to the authorities but paws off touching my stuff.
I will move your stuff and will tell u so. Bring in it on!

Our Alaska cruise at the end of Sept was a b2b and we were told when we showed up that we didn't need to be there, I also don't think that they couldn't find our names on their list and thats when they realized we were b2b.
In the past for a few year we had to do both drills

I've never seen any ship have any organized events geared toward this age group... during spring break or otherwise. He'll be on his own. However, I have seen on many cruises that this age group tends to find each other and hang out together. But he'll need to hang out where they hang out and be willing to be outgoing enough to get involved with others.
They seem to be magnetic and have no problem finding their kind on board.

What does this have to do with Norwegian Cruise Line?
This has to do with NCL because many of their ships stop at this port. Plus Maya Chan has become a popular spot.
Its a small resort with limited umbrella private areas. The homemade Mexican food is to die for.
The major draw back for this place is their beach is in a grassy area, thus not keen for a lot of people and especially if your bring kids. For us we dont go in the ocean we go for the ambiance, quietness, relaxation and for the fantastic food and drinks.
The hosts are also very accommodating and very friendly.
You need to book this well in advance due to limited spots

Salad bar: very good. Many interesting items. Easily the best salad bar on the ship. The meats: not so great.
I agree the salad is great but the meats are extremely very very salty . We only go for the salad bar and one or two pcs. of meat. The roasted pineapple is amazing.

Like the smaller ships by far as there much quieter and relaxing. But we chose to cruise by destination rather than by ship.

Decks 9/10 have larger balconies than 8/11. We always book aft cabin and always with 1 deck between us and the Outdoor Cafe

Hey all,
Just wondering has anyone ever seen a shore excursion that was sold out reopen before sailing? Does NCL offer waiting lists at all, would calling in to the shore excursion desk help at all maybe?
Thanks
They always hold back some for pax booking when on board.

I take pain meds that are considered a Narcotic. Am I going to have issues with bringing them on board ?
No but make sure you keep them in the container with the label

No.
Thank goodness as its bad enough having to deal with second smoke around the ship let alone the smell of that stuff.

You can blame those guests that are too ignorant to sanitize and wash their hands. They use the restroom and don’t wash their hands. Don’t forget the finger lickers in the buffet who dine on spilled gravy on their thumbs only to pick up 7 sets of food tongs seconds after. Saw this countless times on the Bliss ....
I cant agree more that the bathroom habits I've witnessed cruise after cruise and men coming out of the cubicles holding there cell phones, not washing their hands, it just grosses me out and I now use paper towels when leaving bathrooms when exciting.
I wont even get into the trough habits that we've witness and we only eat breakfast at the trough

It is NOT the ships responsibility to watch each passengers obc"s. it's up to you to read all of your doc and fine print.

That was NOT the case on the Bliss last week
It was the case on the Jewel last month but of course some people can't read or should I say refuse to ignore.
I think the main concern is beer bottles
