ps what part of NYC are you from? My mother was born and bred overlooking Central Park. Up until four years ago (when her sister died, she lived on Long Island) I used to visit there almost every year - love the place!

Hi Mike - do you have any 'inside info' as to what itinerary the Aquarius will be doing out of HK?

Have been on Wind & Dream several times and all the Star cruise ships, love the Gemini.

I've emailed Star Cruises Sydney and reply was watch their website. Then tried HK but no answer yet. Trouble is we are looking at Gemini HK/Singapore in May and will have to make a decision soon. If Wind goes into dry dock end April wouldn't she be sailing by June?

Re b2b cruise we did 7 days on the Gemini up the west coast of Malaysia and then just walked across to the Leo (now NCL Spirit) and had four days up the east coast, so I think you can 'extend' your cruise doing this on the Virgo. Also, Gemini is doing longer cruises this year some very tempting, as she is still our favourite ship, however this year it's the Baltics on second favourite - NCL Dream!
