  1. This is only our second cruise on Celebrity. Our assigned cabin is on Deck 3, another couple we are going with has been assigned a cabin on Deck 7 (we both booked ocean view guaranty cabins). It seems like it would be better being higher up- closer to everything and a better view- what do you think? Should I try and get moved up to Deck 7?

Thanks for any advice you can offer.

EDIT: So it doesn't really seem to be "closer to everything" as there's a lot on deck 3- guest relations, Tuscan Grille, shore excursions, conference center, etc- so I'm wondering if it's just the view worth moving up to 7 if possible. It looks like our cabin is directly under the restrooms on deck 4 next to Michael's club and there's a lot on deck 4, so maybe it's worth moving up to be away from all the activity.

  2. Are you talking about over the bathroom door? We just saw them on a cabin crawl on Silhouette two months ago. I don't know why they wouldn't be allowed. But in reality, there is GREAT storage on the S Class ships in the bathroom so in my opinion only there's no need for one

Ditto this. Didn't find that an organizer would be needed.

  3. I usually avoid the spas on cruises because the constantly try to sell you product and I am not interested, but hubby and I are going to do a spa day while the ship is in port in Jamaica in 2 weeks.

Just wondering if anyone is on the Reflection or just off and can tell what what kind of special deals/packages are offered while in port (I know the menu has different prices for port days), but I remember the dailies have specials on top of that from last year.

    Thanks

I was on the end of Nov/early Dec. i don't remember any daily spa specials, but I can check my dailies later when I'm at home. There was a special on the Thursday of our sailing (after being in port Mon, Tues, Weds) for $129 for mix and match mini treatments (you got to select three out of six or seven mini treatments). It was 50 mins long and included gratuity on top of the $129. They did try to sell some lotion/body oil at the end, but my person wasn't really pushy about it.

  4. We had a table for two but it was about two inches from another table of two, so it might as well have been a table for four.We had a good time together. It was right next to the kitchen, but that didn't bother us a bit. The folks at the table next to us did change their table assignment on the first day, I think they just talked to the maitre d. Seemed easy enough.

Do you check your assigned seat on port day?

    Not sure what that means?

I think the assigned table is only for dinner, and lunch and breakfast are at other tables- it seemed like since there aren't a lot of people for these two meals, that they were trying to keep everyone in one area, rather than having dirty tables spread out all over the MDR.

  5. How are the spa specials advertised on the Ship? Are they posted the exact day of the sale or the day before? Are they in the dailies or do you have to check with the spa?

I was on the Reflection last month and it was in the dailys the same day. It was $129 for three mini spa treatments- you could mix and match from about 6 different options and choose the ones you wanted.

It was $129 for 50 minutes, plus 18% grat

  6. We were just on the Reflection for the 11/28 sailing. There was a special in the spa on the Thursday, mix and match 3 out of 6 or so treatments for $129 plus 18% gratuity (it was 50 minutes, so you got three mini treatments). I enjoyed it very much!! Keep an eye out for it in the dailies.

  7. Hi Experts!

I have a few questions after reading through everyone's posts and reviews. Thank you for those, as well as any additional info you might share! Always love to hear about anything else I might not ask as well!

    1) Can our onboard credit from Celebrity be used to purchase an internet package?

    2) What brands of bottled water are covered by the premium beverage package? Any amazing drinks you'd like to share? I mostly drank mudslides by the pool. I bought my Yeti tumbler so they stayed nice and cold till i was finished.

    3) Where did you spend your day time on board? Worth paying for any upgraded areas? We spent our time by the main pool mostly, sometimes in the sun sometimes in the shade. There are some neat hammock type things up near the solarium.

    4) Times/cost/packages for the spin class?

    5) Any nights/events that you think a 30-somthing or 40-something would LOVE? (Dancing, comedy, etc).

    6) Any bartenders or other service folk that blew you away?

    7) How about wine/liquor classes and tastings? Anything that was AMAZING? There was a Jonnie Walker scotch tasting, my husband was the only one that showed up LOL. He also did one of the wine tastings, he enjoyed that also. Wanted to do the Reidel tasting but we missed it.

    8) Great or horrible menu items? We Are in a 1B cabin, so no access to the suite areas.

    9) What was that thing you found on day 6/7 that you wish you found on day 1? I wish we would have checked out the Sky Lounge during the day, we only went one night when it was the night club.

    Thanks Again!

Also, on the Thursday, there was a special in the spa. Three mix and match treatments for $129 (50 minutes total, so mini treatments). Plus 18% gratuity.

  8. In St Martin we did the Explorer excursion- it was a bus ride to a boat, then about an hour sail on the boat with drinks and music to the French side, an hour to walk around the French side and a bus ride back to the dock.

In St Thomas we did not do a ship excursion, we took the ferry to St John and took an island tour. It would have been cheaper to do this through the ship than on our own. Plenty of beaches to choose from on St John.

  9. Thanks, was it $630 more p.p.? Was your $550 OBC including the $150 OBC from the package?

It was $315 per person for the perks, for a seven day cruise.

The OBC was originally going to be $150 pp x2, then $100 per cabin = $400 OBC but once she went through the booking process to get the receipt, there was an extra $150 OBC. Not sure why, but it was there.
