  1. It is category OK which is an upgrade from lowest category OX.

And answer to the question about moving you is no. By booking guarantee, you have given up the right to have any say to the cabin selection, in other words NCL can move you to any cabin of same or higher category at their discretion (well, actually according to the Passenger Ticket Contract they can do this even if you had chosen a specific cabin).

Thanks for the response. That is what I thought by doing some research, but I wanted to verify. I certainly won't complain about another upgrade, I was just curious. :D Thanks again ~ Jen

  2. I wonder if anyone could give me some insight on this? I got notification on our Confirmation that they gave us a "complimentary upgrade to Stateroom 8572." We are on the Dawn. We paid for the guaranteed ocean view stateroom (porthole or window, I know) so I'm just curious why they would consider this an upgrade? Another question - after researching, it looks like this is a decent room in a decent area (we don't really care that it's an obstructed view); if they "upgrade" us again and we don't like the change, can we stay in 8572? TIA. ~ Jen :)

  3. I am just off the Dawn, and everything up to $15 was included. I ordered Don Julio 1942 several times, and that definitely qualifies as an ultra-premium. I did see one guy order one of the Johnny Walkers (I forget the color) and he was told it would be about $3 additional, so they were charging just the overage if you ordered something over $15.

Thank you for the info. We're on the Dawn in a little over a month and I was curious about this.

Good choice in tequila btw.
