We are flying into Ft. Lauderdale the day before our cruise. We have a hotel booked in Miami and plan on taking a cab from the hotel to the cruise port the day of our cruise departure. However, does anyone have any advice or recommendations on how to get from the airport in Ft. Lauderdale to our hotel pre-cruise??

Been doing some research on the 5k. I had a few questions I was hoping someone could help with!!

1. It says you meet on the boat and then disembark and walk 10 min to the starting line. Someone posted you should put your bag on a chair (obviously with non valuables inside) to hold a spot on the beach for when you finish the race. When do you do this? Does the walk to the starting line allow you to do this?

2. Also, we have 2 children who are not old enough to run. What I have read states that they can do the childcare program on the island. When do you take them to this? Or do you check them in on the boat and they take them off?

Anyone that has experienced any of this that could shed some light I would appreciate it!

Thinking of traveling no the Dream in September. Is it difficult to get reservations at Bibbidi Boppity Boutique? Just a thought playing into our decision on whether to go with a regular room or concieger room and let them take care of it for us!!

Looking at rooms on the Dream. Does anyone have experience with the concierge rooms? Are they worth the extra cost?

Does anyone know if we take an excursion boat to White bay if there is anywhere to rent a SUP on the beach?

We are stopping at Tortola on our Escape cruise in May and we're looking at activities in Tortola. We thought maybe we would try to do a beach day and possibly see about renting a stand up paddle board. Does anyone know what beach would be best to do this at here and any recommendations for rentals?

So this maybe a silly question but here goes!

I can purchase speciality dining for so many nights of my cruise. If I choose to do this how does it work? I understand there are only certain restaurants you can dine at if you do not have speciality dining. Just saw where Margaritiville is now considered speciality on the Escape. My husband is a HUGE Jimmy Buffett fan and would love to eat here. The NCL people said it was an al la carte restaurant. So I buy a specialty package to eat here THEN I have to pay for the food too? Is that how it all works? What about other specialty restaurants?

OK I need HELP!! My husband and I are taking our first cruise for our 10th anniversary in May. I have to say I have steered away from cruises because they seemed confusing. Hubby talked me into it and I am SO confused!!! Any help would be appreciated!!

1. Called NCL and they told me to book dining 60 days out. I have read on here 90. Is it 90?? Guy didn't seem to know what he was talking about on other questions I had so I don't really trust his answers!

2. How do we get tickets for the Vibe Beach Club? Is it worth it?

3. What about entertainment? Should we book that in advance?
