The OBC thing expired April 8. (They probably weren't getting enough takers ) You can cancel whenever you wish for a full refund to your credit card. Up until 3 days before sailing.
I was just offered the 125% OBC on my cruise planner stuff on the 16th when our June 11th cruise was officially cancelled

Here's a question for y'all experienced cruisers. Does the vacation protection plan go as a FCC, or does it get refunded with the taxes and fees?
-
I got the change email for my 9 night Canada/New England on Grandeur in June too

I'm not too worried about Corona virus as a whole, but I'm worried how it will affect our June cruise... My son and I are healthy, but my mom is a 2x cancer survivor, her immune system is not good, lol... But man, we've been paying on/planning this for 3.5 years at that point! I'd hate to see it cancelled.

We're cruising in June, and definitely want to do the Freedom Trail in Boston. What's the best way to do it? I've seen audio tour apps, are those worth the $10 or so? And if so, you'd probably just need one (we're a group of 3), right?

@kesrya, I'm so glad you found this thread too! I posted on it earlier, and we were interested in the Lucky Catch, but I could not for the life of me remember what it was called!!! I got a notification of a reply, and here was all the information 🙂

Disagree, never heard of it never saw it. Next time my 2 year old granddaughter shows up we will watch it. Probably on youtube.
I'd be surprised if she doesn't know it already, lol...
I just bought this book for my almost 3 year old niece
It's been around forever, I'm almost 37, and I remember learning it at Girl Scout Camp back in the day... The group that did the new version just brought it back to life
Back on topic though, I've only been on one cruise, out of Galveston, and there were so many dolphins! It was great ❤️

I found this out a few months ago, and am so thankful I did.. There are 3 of us in an ocean view, and it's gone down nearly $500 since the end of July!!!

How does the arcade credit work? I was going to buy my son some arcade credit for our upcoming cruise for Christmas, since it's 20% off, but the half off of 50 is better

Mine is not showing for my June 2020 cruise. It briefly shows under "internet and more", but the heading just flashes and goes away, so I assume that's where it will be when it actually shows up. I'm hoping to get it this time. I didn't on our previous cruise, and I regretted it. It was our first one, and I wasn't sure how many pictures we would actually want.
-
Thanks for the heads up! Mine didn't drop this time, but since I realized that this was a thing (this will only be our 2nd cruise), I've called a few times, and gotten mine reduced by about $400 total since the end of July! We don't sail til June, so I'm hoping for some more good sales before then

We'll be on Grandeur next summer.. I'll have to see if I can get some Indian food... I love it, but no one else in my family does, so more often than not, I settle for something frozen from Trader Joe's

There is some kind of photos made available to room stewards, first time on a ship, walking down a hallway the room steward I have never met introduced himself to be with a hello mr x(my name).
I think there is some sort of recognition and notes kept to help "tickle" memories and improve service.
I don't have an issue with it, it makes for a more enjoyable voyage.
My first cruise was on Carnival and the first time to a dining room they knew me by name so they are using some sort of photo /rfid identification.
my mom used to work in a dental office, and each person's file had a picture and personal notes in it. And this was in the 90s, so far less technology, lol

I was on Liberty of the Seas in 2016, and the attendant left the bed out. After a couple of days, we asked if he'd put it up each morning, since it really did take up soooo much room. And it was nice to have a place to sit, lol

This happened to me as well, when I changed an itinerary. We're nearly a year out though, so I haven't called to cancel it. I actually didn't notice it at first
-
Thank you! We're doing this itinerary next June, and this helps so much with what to expect, it will only be our 2nd cruise. I'm especially excited by your weather report- we'll be coming from South Texas, so those temps sound AMAZING , lol

What is the annual fee for the Amazon charge card?
There isn't one

Thanks guys! I just saved $137, and got an additional $75 OBC... We don't sail until June of next year, so hopefully It'll go down some more

so how does that work? Just keep an eye on the prices, and call in if there is a price drop?

Talk to me about cell service on a Canada/New England cruise. We've only done one cruise, a Caribbean, and obviously there was no cell signal on board. I'm not sure if it would be better on a cruise that stays along the coast. I don't really mind not having signal, I like the chance to be (forced to be, because I have no will power, lol) unplugged for a while. But my son will be 12 and a half this time, and I'm expecting him to want to be off on his own (or hopefully make some friends) for some of the time, and I'd like to be able to get in touch with him when needed. I don't want to pay for the internet plan, because, like I said, I want to be unplugged for the most part. Is there an app or something (RCCL Grandeur of the Seas) we can use for texting on board? We don't have iPhones.
Thanks!

we're doing a 9 night Canada/New England in June of next year out of Baltimore. We've never done it before, so I can't comment on the itinerary. My son will be 12.5 when we go
Why Royal Caribbean is taking so long in doing refunds?!?!?

I just got the refund of port fees and my cruise planner purchase this week for a cruise that I cancelled at the end of March. I haven't received my FCC yet though
