Volendam and Amsterdam and Rotterdam VI - all in the R class.
Winner! Keychain headin' your way 🙂

Pop quiz; which were/are Zaandam's three sisters in her class?
-
Zaandam close up afterall

Using a little "line boat" to bring some of the lines to their bollards "6 meters to come astern" for Q
-
"Ryan", one of the long-time Juneau port agents talking to Q's pilot about "positioning". That's him in the black jacket and clipboard under his arm, walking past the forklift used to haul the gangway in place. It's his job to call off the final couple of meters until Q is in a good position for her two gangways. The captain and pilot on the starboard bridge wing can't see the gangway position due to an obscured view of same. They rely on Ryan for that. We'll hear Ryan call out meters soon

When Q is finally safely alongside, we should see Zaandam popping up on Q's port side, ready to make her approach to Franklin

We've had quite a few ships this season, sitting away from the dock - not moving. Maybe lack of dock workers?
Juneau is/was usually pretty good at that but you could be right. They could have been busy hooking up a gangway at one of the other ships in port. The same crew does lines and gangways

Zaandam now in view! I was a bit early
-
Man, that white hull of Q really looks nasty above the water line
-
Zaandam coming into view above the shipping containers in front of Walt's ship on the far left while the Quantum captain and crew are taking their coffee break. Pilot just called in with a 10 min ETA to Franklin Dock

I'm sorry, but I'm not understanding the no smoking cartoon from @Copper10-8 Can someone enlighten me?
@Vict0riann sorry to hear your news. You are in my prayers.
A "smoking" is another word for tuxedo in some countries 😉 "No smoking" resulted in the guy taking off his tux

Back from the doctor and haircut. There is a carcinoma, and the doctor is sending me to a surgeon - probably for just a lumpectomy, and see how it goes. Now the waiting begins! So relieved to be able to get a haircut without an appointment, I feel lightheaded without all that hair.
All the best Ann! Maria and I are thinking about you!

Yes, there is a Rotterdam model available onboard. My wife purchased one for me on her cruise in April. Her and I have a cruise aboard the Rotterdam in October so saved me from carrying it home then. You can never have enough models to mark your cruises. I am only missing the Koningsdam, Nieuw Statendam, NCL Leeward, Regency Regent Rainbow, and Viking Sky.
Foreground:
HAL Veendam, HAL Nieuw Amsterdam, HAL Westerdam, HAL Zuiderdam, HAL Eurodam,
MSC Splendida, HAL Oosterdam, CCL Carnival Legend, MSC Preziosa, CCL Carnival Venezia, HAL Rotterdam, MSC Seashore

Thanks for your service to your country, Coastie! Semper Paratus!
